the comments continued and you couldn't believe it. Joseph had posted on instagram and spoken out about it? Joseph didn't really like social media so his management team ran his account but hearing that he posted just for you melted your heart. you checked his instagram and saw the little black post with a long paragraph with it. you read it and felt the tears which had already filled your eyes streak down your face:

we all know why i am making this post, its because me and y/n were exposed in the worst way imaginable. to be real with everyone that didn't hurt me. the worst thing was seeing the effect it had on my beautiful girlfriend y/n. y/n is one of the strongest people i know and seeing her so heartbroken and embarrassed broke me. me and y/n have been together for two years and i've never ever seen her like this. the disgusting amount of comments that were made about her body, her looks and just her in general shocked me because i never knew how brutal some of you could be. seeing her be slut shamed and seeing her scrolling through the crazy amount of hateful comments and seeing the hurtful look on her face broke me even more. how come she gets slut shamed when we were both doing the same activity. y/n is the kindest being on this earth- not once have i ever seen her lose her temper with a fan or someone in her family and seeing people be horrible to her was so hurtful. please remember to be respectful and kind - Joe

after reading this you knew. you knew Joseph was the one for you and you would never ever leave him. he was the purest soul on this earth and he went onto social media and posted this just for you. Joseph truly was the best boyfriend in the entire world and you honestly wouldn't know what to do without him.

Joseph was with Wesley, his best friend, in some random pub which was practically surrounded by paparazzi who were bombarding him with questions. questions about you, questions about how he's feeling about just all around invasive questions that weren't going to be answered. Joseph and you both loved your privacy. your relationship wasn't a secret- obviously- but it was private.

you both only posted each other when you felt comfortable and that was final. practically everyone who knew you and Joseph had seen the video except your family. people who didn't even know who you and Joseph were had seen the video but watched with sympathy as they realised you were publicly humiliated and were exposed without your knowledge.

"how are you doing mate?" Wesley said as he took a sip of his beer. Joseph sighed and rubbed his neck before fiddling with the ring on his finger. "i'm alright mate. i mean my dick is out in the world which is one thing i didn't think would happen this year but what can i do?" he tried to joke, but Wesley didn't laugh.

he was just as disgusted that you'd both been publicly humiliated and he felt sorry for his friend who was obviously embarrassed at the fact his body was on display for the world to see. "have you guys found out who's done it yet?" it was a no. you had absolutely no idea who had posted that video and the police were still trying to track it down.

"nah mate. no clue. all we know is it was someone from the paparazzi which i don't think there's much we can do now anyway. it's out there, millions and millions of people have seen it so. i don't know, i just feel so bad for y/n. she's had a lot more backlash then i have and it's really affecting her. she's closed all the curtains in the house so no one can see inside and she's also looking at new houses because the paparazzi know where we live and she doesn't want that"

Wesley sighed. the paparazzi and hate had really broke you. "it's scary mate. they're all outside now photographing you. you can barely catch a break. i don't know how-" Wesley was cut off by by three girls, all around the same age coming up to the table where they were sat.

"excuse me, we just wanted to come up to you and say how sorry we are for what's happened to you and y/n. it's horrible to be publicly humiliated like that and what the media is saying about you both is terrible" Joseph and Wesley looked at each other and then back at the girls. Joseph was uncomfortable. very uncomfortable.
