Hey Everyone. It's finally here, the final chapter for real now. This has truly been a journey and it's crazy how far this story has come and I just wanna thank you all for it. I'm sorry the chapter is short, but I wanted to give you guys closure as I have lost interest in the story. I also want to apologize for literally dying on you guys several times BUT IM BACK NOW. Without further ado...
Glory's POV
I woke up to the sound of rustling. I looked in the direction it was coming from, squinting due to the dark. "Deathbringer wake up." I shook him awake. I rushed over to the noise to find the egg moving. "DEATHBRINGER GET UP THE EGG'S HATCHING!" I yelled. I watched closely as the egg's shell started to slowly chip away. Deathbringer sat next to me as a little snout started to poke out the side.
Then the side of the egg shell was pushed open, the tiny dragonet falling out. Deathbringer scooped her up in his talons. "It's our little baby girl." He cooed. She was a baby pink and blue; while the tips of her tail and wings were a black. "What should we name her?" He asked looking to me. "Firefly. Princess Firefly." I said draping a blanket over her. Firefly let out a long yawn, her tiny wings and arms stretching before snuggling into the blanket.
"Shes's perfect." Deathbringer said, kissing my cheek. "Come on, let's go watch the full moons." I beckoned, walking out to the balcony. I sat down as he followed closely behind. Once he sat down I rested my head on his shoulders. "I'm so glad we can share this moment together." I sighed, looking up to the two full moons while the third was a small crescent. The soft sound of crickets and forest creatures quietly sang around us.
"Peace at Last." Deathbringer said, holding me and Firefly close.
