Glorybringer~ I don't need a bodyguard

                                     Glory's POV
When I woke up I was in my hut. "DEATHBRINGER?" I said as I sat up quickly, worried. "Right here." He said placing his talon on mine, in an effort to comfort me. "What happened?" I asked Deathbringer. "Long story-short; I caught you before you fell to your death, which is quite ironic because my name is Deathbringer. I'm supposed to bring death, tec"- "GET TO THE POINT!!" I yelled, interrupting him.

"The dragon followed us back, but don't worry I handled it." He said with a smugish-heroic face. "Where is the dragon?" Glory said annoyed but exhausted. "In the dungeon, I didn't want to kill them without your permission." He said with a smile. "Can you please take me to them?" I told Deathbringer sweetly. "Sure." He responded. Before he left the hut he turned around to look at me. "You know that I love you, right?" He asked me with a side smile. "I love you too." I said before giving him a kiss.

                            Deathbringer's POV
When we arrived at the dungeon we saw the dragon in its original form. RainWing, Female; and looks to be....Oh, no. Mockingbird. "Long time no see, Reaper." Mockingbird said with a smirk on her face. "My name is Deathbringer." I hissed. "You know each other?!?" Glory screamed, very confused. "Only from assassin training." I said, not breaking my gaze on Mockingbird. "You were the top of the class, I fancied you. You were very charming, Reaper." She said sweet talking me.

"My name is Deathbringer, Mockingbird. Or should I say, Dove." I said growling. "We only say code names, Reaper. You exposed your real name, and not to mention, mine." She said narrowing her gaze. "Does it look like I care?" I said, showing my anger. "You liked me." She said smiling. I couldn't contain my anger anymore as I reached my arm through the bars and gripped her throat.

"You loved me Deathbringer, that's why your with that suck-up RainWing Queen. It's because she reminds you of me." She said as she spat out out the last word. I was at my boiling point, I dug my talons into her neck and threw her head against the wall. "Deathbringer, in my hut now." I heard Glory growl at me.

                               Glory's POV
I thought he really loved me.... I thought filled with anger. "Glory, your the only one I ever loved...no one but you." He said, trying to convince me; but failed. "Like a dragon would try to kill someone you liked; so you two could be together. She wouldn't have done that for no reason." I said yelling at Deathbringer.

"Look, she is the best dragon I know at lying! She would say anything to get a dragon to believe whatever she says!" He said pleading me to forgive him. "I loved you, and you ruined it. We're over." I said before I flew out of my hut and into the forest.

                              Deathbringer's POV
I ruined my last chance, I just wanted her to be my mate. Is that too much for a dragon to ask?
                                Author's POV
It was midnight, Deathbringer in his hut. Silently crying. Knowing whatever Mockingbird said was true, but didn't want to believe it. He loved Glory more than he could ever love Mockingbird, that was the truth.

Glory, too, crying herself to sleep. She loved him more than anyone or anything. She wanted to have dragonets with him. She wanted to love him. She wanted him to be her mate; but he had ruined it. It broke her heart. After all the love of her life, didn't really love her like she thought. What was the point of living , after all she been through?
