The 7 rings bit here is a literal translation of shichirin,a small type of Japanese grill.

The Book of Madai is also a reference to a biblical figure of the same name.
Madai is the son of Japheth and one of Noah's 16 grandsons. Madai is found in the Hebrew Bible and the Book of Genesis. He also appears in the Book of Jubilees.
Madai is also the Japanese name for the red seabream.
