Christmas in the loop

You were sitting outside alone under the tree. Ss boring as it was not having anyone to talk too, you didn't want to accidentally hurt anyone. You saw Alma walking out with her fluffy gloves and leather coat. She looked absolutely gorgeous! You got up forgetting everything about the voice and went to walk over to her.

'You'll kill her' the voice suddenly said again. You groaned as a pain shot through your body And stopped halfway towards Alma. The woman looked at you concerned and went to walk over but you turned around half bend over seeing as the pain was getting the better of you. You bit your bottom lip accidentally making it bleed. A hand suddenly grabbed you by the shoulder making you abruptly turn around putting on a plastic smile.

"Hey" you said quickly trying to sound enthusiastic which didn't go as well as you'd hoped.

"Are you alright dear?" Sha asked, her hand still remaining on your shoulder.

"Y- yeah. Yes! Of course" you said not sounding half as convincing as you'd hoped to be. She looked you over skeptically, humming in response.

"Well you haven't had breakfast and you just now missed lunch..." she said carefully making you look down just the slightest bit.

"You've been out here all day" she finished catching your eyes again.

"I find it... enjoyable outside." You said with a gap making your sentence sound made up. Which partly it was. You did find it enjoyable outside, but you had other reasons to be outside... like for example avoiding everyone.

"Yes... well you'll catch a cold if you stay out much longer." She said still looking as worried as ever.

"Why don't you come inside again." She finished her sentence her hand wandering from your shoulder to your gloved hands. You tensed for a moment but eventually -reluctantly- walked with her.

Dinner had gone by quickly, and without you eating a single bite. Alma gave sign for everyone to get ready for the movies. You got up and went to take out your plate when someone grabbed you making you stumble back into them.

"Y/n will stay behind for a moment. Now go get ready." It was Alma. Of course it was. You could feel yourself growing flustered making you look down eyes wide. She was standing right in front of you. Too close... like very close. Once everyone had left you felt her hand on your hip pressing you backwards, eventually hitting a wall. Your eyes connected and hers stern, looking right into your soul.

"Now you listen to me." She says firmly, her voice only a low growl.

"I-" you went to say something but she cut you off.

"I said shush!" She said. Her hands pressing against your hips making you grow flustered.

"If you don't tell me, your girlfriend! What is wrong..." she trailed of looking you up and down unintentionally.

"I don't know what i'll do." She said her voice growing softer.

"I don't" you went to say but cut yourself of knowing it was useless.

"I... I've been hearing this. This voice" you started , while looking her in the eyes.

"It's... it keeps saying..." you almost couldn't form the sentences. Until you just blurted it all out;

"It's been giving me nightmares were it makes me kill you, and keeps telling me everyone here would be better of without me! And i know it's true. And Miss Peregrine you don't have to pretend to be my girlfriend let alone pretend to love me-" you were cut of by her lips planting on yours. It was like every muscle in your body could finally relax.

"When will you understand?" She said and you noticed the tears in her eyes.

"Y/n you -along with the children- are my world! You are my world!" She said as a tear strolled down her eyes. You felt your eyes forming their own as you hugged her tightly.

"I love you Alma. I love you so much" you cried into her shoulder silently.

"I love you to song bird" she said closing the hug and tightening it around you. You felt safe. She felt safe. Everything about this felt. Right.
