"What are you waving in my face?" you deadpanned as you tried to complete another chat room.

You had recently reached the bad ending, and you were determined to win 707's heart in the end.

"A flash drive. Come on. Can you react a little more?" Matt flashed you a smile.

"I am going to miss my chat rooms..."

"Can't you go back and do them over?" Matt asked, his smile falling as you focused your eyes back on the screen.

"I am in Mystic Messenger hell at the moment, but things are looking up!"

"Give me a little time!"

"No..." You focused back on your phone as Matt felt a sinking feeling in his stomach.

He had spent weeks perfecting the codes for the game, and you were not going to spend time with him because of an otome character?

"Nope. Nope." Matt grabbed your phone from your hands and laid it down on the counter. "You'll find this more entertaining than that."

"Give it back, Matt!" You strode over to the counter, only to be lifted off the ground by the redhead. "Matt, for God's sake!" You were set back down on the couch, and the gamer placed a computer on the lap, inserting the drive.

"Just play it. I could only get rid of Mello for a few hours, so we are running out of time for a peaceful talk about this."

"Peaceful talk? Do you mean cursing each other out for being stupid?" You shook your head and chuckled before clicking the play button. "Matt, this actually looks kind of good. Did you make it?"

"Yeah. It's only a good forty minutes long."

"You made me the main character?"

"Yep. You have the ability to bore people to death!" Matt chuckled at your expression and motioned for you to continue.

"So, I have to work for the prize? Why didn't the narrator tell me what it was?"

"You'll see the end. The thing to contemplate is whether you want to accept it or not when it is offered." Matt grinned as you started the gameplay, which consisted of you cussing out both him and the game for fifty minutes, much longer than he had anticipated.

"This prize better be good," you grumbled as you defeated the final boss, which turned out to be Mello with fire powers. You were only met with a black screen. "What the hell?" You groaned as Matt laughed loudly, throwing a pillow in his direction. He caught it and launched it back at you. "You did not make me spend a perfectly good hour of my life playing this game for it to glitch out!" Your eyes were drawn back to the screen, which flashed a white. You watched as dark words were typed out in sentences that made no sense. "Is your computer possessed?"

Matt walked over to sit by your side as his green eyes peered at the screen.

"That's strange. I didn't anticipate this!"

"You did not give the computer a virus, did you?" you worried as you watched most of the words disappear off the screen. The remaining words spelled out: 'Will you date me?' Matt nervously watched as your eyes lost emotions and you pushed the computer to him.

"(Y/n)?" he asked, leaning closer to you in concern.

"You're joking with me, aren't you?" came your soft voice as Matt shook his head frantically, letting out a breath as you looked up at him, finally. "Matt, of course!" An excited smile cut across your face as Matt started to laugh. In moments, you were pulled into a spinning hug. "I've been waiting for a while. I was actually going to ask Mello for help with asking you out!" He set you down on the counter and tilted his head to look you in the eye.

"Are you good, though? You looked like you had zoned out for a little while."

"Why would you choose me?" you asked as Matt's eyebrows knitted together.

"The real question is why you want to be with me. Well, is it official, then?"

"Of course it is!" You smiled and hugged the gamer around the neck.

The door opened and Mello walked in, eyes flicking to the two. His eyes widened and Matt let out a loud laugh.

"I told you that Mello would be poking his nose in our business, didn't I?" Matt asked, looking over at your blushing face.

"You know, I am not going to even bother with you two..." Mello sighed and shook his head at the two of you. "Just get (Y/n) off of the counter. We usually keep our food there, and you don't know where they've been." He smirked at you shooting a glare at him. "I'm only joking!"

"We cannot get any privacy, can we?" you asked, looking down at Matt.

"Oh, you wanted to do more?" Matt's eyebrows shot up as Mello growled.

"Stop flirting. I hate it."

"You're just sad that you don't have someone~" Matt's smirk disappeared as his best friend quirked up his eyebrow at him. "Shit, I forgot. Nevermind!"

"Yeah. Use your head for once, Matt..." Mello murmured as he turned on the television. "If you two are doing anything, go out to your car..."

"Kinky."

"Matt, if you do not shut up--"

"Okay, you two!" You intervened as you slid off your perch on the counter. "Matt, can I have my phone back? I need to chat with the boys again!"

Matt sighed and grabbed hold of it, handing it over to you. Immediately, you snatched it from his hands and turned it back on.

"I need more hourglasses..." you mumbled, shuffling into a separate room.

"Hourglasses?" Mello looked over at the redhead who grinned sheepishly.

"It's a Mystic Messenger thing. Don't worry about it!"

"I wouldn't even want to hear about it..." Mello turned his attention to the television. "By the way, you two are perfect for each other."

"Aww, you love us~"

"Shut up..."
