15th of December 2022 - York House

There was no surprise to any of them with the clash date of the final part of the Harry and Meghan documentary, no doubt aimed like everything else that Harry and Meghan did to take the spotlight away from the royals.

Tonight would mark the second annual 'Royal Carols: Together at Christmas', which most of the family were expected to attend in light of the attacks that were coming from Harry and Meghan.

It would be a united front, none of them had known what to expect from the second part of the Netflix documentary that had dropped that morning and found Adeline and Simon back on the couch.

The children were distracted, Anne and Edmund making sure of that while they watched what would no doubt be worse than the first part especially since they had nothing to lose.

The fourth episode started by covering the couple's wedding day, how the big spectacle was for the world and that they had wanted something much smaller but had been denied because Harry was a prince.

The couple talks about their struggles in their first residence Nottingham Cottage, which they said was too small despite the fact that several other members of the royal family had lived there without any issues.

Adeline felt ill seeing pictures not just from inside Nottingham Cottage, but of York House as Harry compared the home that Adeline had with the one that he had been given.

The very fact that they had taken these pictures without her or Simon noticing didn't sit well with either of them; it was an invasion of their privacy.

Meghan reflected on her first official engagement with Queen Elizabeth II and then discussed her own role in organizing a fundraiser for survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire shortly after the wedding.

Harry claimed there was resentment in the royal family at the popularity of Meghan during their tour of Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Forgetting and ignoring all the trouble that had come from that, the reports of Meghan's behaviour on that tour were well known and had reached the public.

The episode also compared the coverage received by Meghan and her sisters-in-law Catherine and Adeline during their respective pregnancies.

That both Catherine and Adeline had been better supported, that the media coverage had been positive ignoring the fact that Catherine had been so ill during her pregnancies.

Meghan also discussed her suicidal thoughts and how she was allegedly not allowed to get help, that the royals refused to help her and Harry didn't know what to do.

It was laughable almost, since Harry was well known to have been in therapy for years with other members of the family also having been spoken out in their past about seeking therapy.

Harry claimed the communications offices at the palace work against each other, he talked about his disappointment "to see [his] brother's office copy the very same thing" Charles once did during the divorce with his mother.

There was no talking about his own briefing of the press, Meghan was known to call the press to do a pap walk even more they had married; her pictures outside Kensington Palace public entrance stood testament to that.

Stories that lined the papers that could have only come from the Sussexes, always aimed at bringing down the Palace for not giving them what they wanted and staying silent.

Harry also talked about their decision not to serve "[their] child up on a platter" by appearing in front of a hospital after he was born.

The story of Archie's birth not sitting right with Adeline nor Simon as they listened to Harry recount it, there was always something odd about it.
