do you feel the same way? (Basil x Reader)

You lay down inside of a hospital bed, sitting there wondering why you're in here, as you can barely recall anything that could have happened before you ended up here. You try to sit up but you're not able to move.

The doctor walks to the door and opens it, letting your mom and Basil into the room. Basil was the first one to walk in. As you look at Basil, you can see that Basil's eyes are completely red, as if he's been crying for quite a long time. You try to speak to them, but you're not able to even open your mouth. All you can do is just lay there and stare at them, watching as they just cry. This happens for a minute or two before Basil walks over to you and kisses you on the forehead. You can feel Basil's tears softly hitting the side of your face.

The last thing you hear is Basil whispering: "Please don't be dead.. please.."

You wake up to find yourself in the white room.. you don't want to be back here. You remember what happened last time.

After moments of resisting it, you grab the knife off of the floor, and stab yourself.
You resist the urge to remove the knife from your chest, knowing that this is the only way to wake up.
It hurts so much.. but that's normal.
By the time your vision starts to fade, you can't feel the pain. It doesn't even feel like it's there.

You wake up.
