It was the middle of the night and you stared at the flickering light in the middle of the room. Sure, the light flickering was annoying, but you couldn't help but stare. Something about it was just-

Your thoughts get interupted by the light going out. At that exact moment, you hear a window break downstairs.

Y/N: Huh? What was that?

You slowly walk downstairs and see the shadow of a figure standing in your kitchen. They then turn around and face you. A few seconds go by and you both just stare at each other. Out of nowhere, they throw something at you and a picture behind you shatters. You quickly run into your room and catch a glimpse of a knife in their hands before you slam the door shut.

"Come on.. don't be scared.. let me in!"

Y/N: Who are you? W-what do you want from me?

A knife going through the door answers your question almost immediately. In a hurry, you grab the nearest thing and block the door. Using the time that you had, you try to break the window open to escape. You see cracks forming on the window and your eyes light up. But the door breaks down and the figure bolts into the room, grabbing you and body-slamming you onto the floor.

You feel something sharp dig inside your chest.

"Don't worry.. you don't need to scream.. it'll all be over soon.. it'll all be okay.. it'll all be okay.."

Those were the last words you heard before you blacked out. And also the last words you'll ever hear again.
