"I think I still love him"

Becca's P.O.V Brady and I were at Splatburger getting something to eat. We have been dating for a couple of days and I've been really happy but every time I'm with Brady all I think about is Max. Deep down I still love him but I don't know what to do. It was now Monday morning, I walked in to see the person I wanted to talk to 'Phoebe'. "Phoebe" I called as I approached her.
"Hi Becca," she said softly. I missed hanging out with Phoebe.
"Hey um I'm sorry for ignoring you but I missed you a lot" I apologized. I could see that tears were forming in her eyes as she pulled me into a hug.
"I missed you too Becca" she cried. We pulled away from the hug and I smiled at her it's good to have my best friend back. The bell rang and we headed to class, it was good to have Phoebe back I missed her now I have to ask her about Max. Classes were finally finished and it was time to head home. I walked out of the school to see something I didn't wanna see, Brady kissing another girl. I couldn't believe it I couldn't speak. I stormed up to him and told him we are over and all he did was shake his head. I walked home and called Phoebe and asked her if she could over and she said yes.
Phoebe's P.O.V Becca wanted me to come over to talk about something. I made it to her apartment and knocked on her door which she quickly opened. Becca looked like she was crying for hours her eyeliner was smudged and she looked tired. I walked in and we sat down on her couch. "Becca, what's wrong? I asked.
Becca's P.O.V "Becca, what's wrong? She asked.
"I didn't tell you I was dating someone after I broke up with Max, his name was Brady and I caught him cheating on me with another girl" I explained.
"Oh my I'm so sorry that happened to you" She replied."Is there anything I can do"
"Well there is something I need help with but first how's Max?" I asked.
"Uh I haven't seen him he hasn't left his room in days, he misses you Becca" she informs.
"Oh I miss him too, I don't feel like Brady was the right person for me, I think I still love him" I stated. She just smiled at me I didn't know why she was smiling like that.
"Well Becca, I told Max I was coming here so he might come" she confessed. As she said that there was a knock at the door. I opened it and saw Max standing there, I brought him into a hug and just cried into his shoulder.
"I missed you Max" I cried.
"I miss you too Becca," He said. We stayed like this forever until it started to rain. We stared into each other's eyes and kissed. The kiss was filled with pure love and something we needed. We pulled away and pressed our foreheads together" I love you and I always will" He smiled

"I love you too, I will always come back to you it's us against the world" I whispered. I'm happy we got back together, I missed them so much. I finally got my best friend and boyfriend back and nothing will ever get in between us again. I don't care if they have superpowers, I don't care if they kept them from me. I love Max and nothing will change that.
At School It was another day at school. Max and I walked into school hand in hand. Phoebe was by the lockers with Cherry. Max and I walked up to them " Hello guys" we both said.
" Hey, guys what's up," Cherry asked.
"We're alright" I replied.
"Y'all wanna come with us to Splatburger after school?" Phoebe asked.
"Sure I guess " Max answered, the bell rang and we headed to class. Classes were finally over we met up with Phoebe and Cherry and made our way to Splatburger. We arrived and found a seat next to the window. I sat with Max and Phoebe sat next to Cherry. We ordered our food, talked, and joked around until it was time to go home. Max and I said bye to them and walked in the opposite direction.
"Where are we going, Max?" I asked.
"You'll see" He smirked. I nodded my head. We continued walking until we reached the beach where we had our first date and where he asked me to be his girlfriend. "This is where I asked you to be my girlfriend and where I'm gonna ask you again", "Becca will you be my girlfriend again," He asked
"Yes," I grinned. I pulled him into a passionate kiss. We pulled away and continued walking along the beach. My missing puzzle piece was finally back.
