LOVE AND THUNDER ??| Max Thunderman

I did mention in Chapter Fourteen that Emily said Becca would regret leaving her family. In this chapter, we find out the truth about the family and also something that they are hiding from Becca.

Becca's P.O.V
It has been a couple of weeks after my brother's funeral. I was currently in the kitchen eating breakfast when Phoebe and Max came in. They've been trying to cheer me up, but nothing has worked. I still think about my brother, and it makes me cry every time I look back at the memories.
" Bec?" Phoebe asked

"Huh?" I asked." I'm not in the mood for anything right now ,"

"Guys, leave her alone. She's still sad and needs time alone, " Mrs.Thunderman said as she walked in the kitchen. They soon went back to their rooms. After finishing my breakfast, I placed my dish in the sink and washed up. After that, I walked to the living room and sat down well, almost when I heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it," I said as I walked to the door and opened it, revealing two people I didn't wanna see. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Is that any way of speaking to your parents?" Emma said

"I thought you said Dark Mayhem was your father," Mrs.Thunderman said

"That's what we're here to talk about." Emma said.

"Well, come in," I said. They walked in and sat down. " Is Emily here with you?"

"Yeah, she's outside coming." She said. Emily soon came in and gave me a hug, but she whispered something in my ear

"Don't take the news in a hard way," Emily whispered. I looked at her, but she just shrugged her shoulders and sat down. I walked over and sat down next to Mrs.Thunderman.

"Anyway, I hope you don't take the news in a wrong way," Emma started ." But you're adopted ,"

"Way to drop the bomb, mom," Emily said

"I'm what?" I asked, confused

"Adopted. Why do you think you're the only one with powers? " Emily said

"We've been keeping it from you cause we didn't want you to feel left out," Jayden said

"Left out from what exactly. My whole life is a lie. Emily told me that Dark Mayhem was our father. Our!!" I started raising my voice slightly. "And it was a lie he's only my father. You guys are the worst!!! How could you do that?"

"We also have something else we've been lying about," Emma said

"And what is that?" I asked

"Your name. It's actually Skylar, Dark Mayhem wanted us to change it, " Emma responded

"Oh, he did," I said. I don't blame them anymore. I blame Dark Mayhem. Why did he put me up for adoption. I got up and stormed out the house to go to Metroburg.

"Where is she off to?" Mrs.Thunderman asked

"I think I might know," Emily said.

"Where?" Mrs.Thunderman asked

"Metroburg to talk to Dark Mayhem," She replied

"Max, go after her," Mrs.Thunderman shouted.

*Time Skip to Metroburg *
I finally reached the villain headquarters. I stormed in, blasting the door open. "Where is he?" I shouted.

"Becca, what are you doing here?" Dark Mayhem asked

"You liar," I shouted

"What -" he started, but I cut him off using my energy blast.

"Why did you put me up for adoption?" I asked

"I had to. I couldn't keep you here until you were ready and found out about your powers. " He explained "Plus you are more powerful than you think. "

"Fine, I believe you, but no more secrets," I said.  "Anyway, I should head back to Hiddenville." I walked out and saw Max "Babe"

"Oh, you're okay," He said as he hugged me. "Let's head home." We walked home where I saw the rest of the family, and them.

"Okay, you guys can leave now," I said. With that being said, they left.

"So what about your name?" Phoebe asked

"Oh, I'll always be known as Rebecca." I smiled. I walked to Max's room and sat down on his bed. Max soon came downstairs.

"Sweetheart?" Max asked

"Yes, babe," I replied

"Are you okay?" He asked

"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just disappointed that they never told me before, but things happen for a reason, " I said.He came and gave me a hug. " Thanks for being there for me,"

"Anything for you," He said as he placed a soft kiss against my lips. "Now, let's go upstairs it's family movie night,"

"Okay," I said as I followed him upstairs, where the whole family was waiting "Okay so who's ready for family movie night?"

"We are," the kids say. It was Mrs.Thunderman who picked the movie, which was Blue Bettle, my favorite only because of the actor. Nora went to get the popcorn, and then we all sat down and watched the movie Max and I occasionally bickering because I said Blue beetle was cute. The movie finally finished, and we all went our separate ways. This time, I went to Phoebe's room.

"Okay, so what about this dress?" Phoebe asked.

"Um.. I think the pink one is better. " I responded

"Okay, the pink dress it is," She said as she picked up the pink dress and placed it on her wardrobe for tomorrow. Link and her are going on a date tomorrow, so she wanted me to help her pick an outfit. " Okay, so when are you and Max going out. You two barely get alone time. "

"I don't know, Pheebs." I simply said." Anyway I tired. Good night, Pheebs. "

"Good night, Bec," she said. I walked downstairs and went to Max's room.

"Oh, you're back," He said

"You still up?" I asked

"Mhm, come here," He called. I walked over, and he pulled me onto his lap. "My baby is not alright,"

"How could you tell?" I asked

"Cause I know you," He said as he pulled me into a kiss.

"Well, thanks for knowing me," I said

"How about I take you out tomorrow?" He asked

"That would be nice," I smiled. He pulled me into another kiss. He carried me to the bed,
and we both drifted off to bed

Well, Becca was adopted. What a shocker.
