"Ooh, merry almost Christmas," Phoebe said as we walked out
"Aww, same goes for you, Pheebs." I smiled
"Christmas again. Everyone is nice, singing songs, eating figgy pudding, " Max said
"Hey, it's still a week away, so you've got plenty of time to get your figgy on," I said
"Never," He said. " I will fight Christmas as long as I live. It's the number one supervillian rule followed by never helping old people."
"You can't defeat the spirit of Christmas, Max. Merry almost Christmas. " She said, jingling her bells.
"Oh, that reminds me I won't be here to celebrate Christmas with you guys." I said
"Why not?" Phoebe questioned.
"I want to spend it with my sister," I said. Yes, Phoebe knows I have a sister wait till they find out the real reason I'm not spending Christmas with them.
"Aww, but it was going to be your first Christmas with us," Phoebe said.
"I know." I sighed.
"Aww, babe, stay safe and call me when you reach. Love you, " He said as he gave me a quick kiss on the lips. I grabbed my stuff and left.
Max's P.O.V
"Nice job, Phoebe," Dad said
"You've definitely outdone yourself," Mom said
"Merry almost Christmas," Nora said as she and Billy came inside.
"Okay, we get it," I said
"Billy's even helping me make sure we have a white Christmas," Nora said.
"Yep, check out my snow dance," He said as he did a dance.
*Time Skip*
"It's already Christmas Eve Max, and you haven't asked me about my mistletoe hat," Dr.Colosso said.
"I'm sorry buddy, what's this cry for attention all about?" I asked as I turned to look at my bunny.
"Actually, I hate Christmas, but this year, I'm using it as an excuse to get a smooch from your mom," Dr.Colosso explained
"Colosso, my mom can't stand you," I said
"Well, if she kisses your dad, I gotta be in the game." He said. "What's with the old cottage cheese in the box?"
"Well, Nora wants a white Christmas, so I'm giving her one," I explained. " Though it may be green and stinky by the time she opens it,". My sister and my mother soon came in, so I hid the cottage away in the fridge. "One day, I'm going to find that tree and chop it down."
"Max, you're such a scrooge." Phoebe said
"Awwe, Phoebe, you say the sweetest things," I said.
*Time Skip *
I was down in my lair. "Stupid Phoebe trying to give me the Christmas spirit," I complained. I crawled into bed and went to sleep.
"You should totally wake up, Max Thunderman." I heard someone say I got up and looked to my left.
"Mom, Dad Phoebe finally snapped," I said
"As if I'm not Phoebe. I'm the spirit of Christmas past. " She said.
"Go away." I said. I threw my shoe at it, but it went straight through her. " How'd you do that.
"I told you I'm not Phoebe. I came to show you that all your lame ideas to ruin Christmas have failed. " She explained," Like really."
