Mated to the Devil

Aspen's POV

As soon as my eyes met those shining blue orbs, my wolf, Max shouted the word I've been dying to hear for years.

Mate!!! We found our mate Aspen!!! We finally found her after so looooooonnnnggggg!!! Max shouted, tears almost forming in his eyes if that is even possible. He took control from me and i allowed him to because nothing matters to us in front of our mate.

Max howled as loud as he can in happiness and excitement. Not caring if we're scaring everyone present or destroying this alpha ceremony. All we care about is our, who's looking at us with her eyes as wide as they could be.

And the i saw her running away. She fucking ran away from me??? From us??? Her mate??? I stood there in daze thinking of number of reasons why our little beautiful mate ran away from us.

Is it because of the rumours?? I never cleared them because i accepted the fact that moon goddess was cruel enough to not mate me with anyone. That's the reason I became cruel and bloodthirsty alpha. That's why I went to war with numbers of pack and defeated their alphas and made them submit to me.

Even the BloodMoon pack where the blessed wolf and her mate ruled didn't escaped from my warth. It's just alpha Asher denied the war and proposed an alliance.

With the little sanity i had left in hope that one day I'll find my mate and didn't want her to hate me. I decided to go with the alliance.

In my 28 years of life filled with nothing but darkness, my mate's brightly shining eyes are the only light that could help me.

Wearing that white dress made her look so beautiful and so pure. Her golden brown hairs looked so soft to touch that i just want to brush my hands through it.

But how the fuck will i do anything if she runs away from me??? Growling, i let Max take control and shifted, shredding all my clothes into pieces. I ran towards my mate following her delicious sweet strawberries with a hint of lavender. Damn! That's going to be my favourite smell.

I followed the smell till i came in front of a lake, my mate nowhere in sight. We whimper at the loss of our mate and tried to call out to her. And to tell you honestly, it's the first time we've ever whimpered.

As if hearing our call, she moved and that didn't go unnoticed by us. We ran towards the sound and there she was. This place was hidden by roots and branches making it barely noticeable.

She was curled up into a ball, her back facing me. She must be afraid of us, Aspen. Max whined.

I took a deep breath and asked him to sit back and let me handle her. I shifted back and walked towards her. I squatted behind her and placed left hand over her right shoulder. The tingles generated from the touch with my mate bursted through my body. And it felt good. Actually, it felt good to have a mate.

I saw her shiver at my touch, that means she's feeling this too. I smiled at the thought and scooped her into my arms and buried my nose in her neck, smelling her intoxicating smell.

Oh god! How much I'm controlling myself from marking her right now, right here.

I felt her leaning on me and tilting her head a little to give me more space. I smiled against her skin on her neck, and softly placed gentle kisses all over her neck and jaw.

I grabbed her chin between my fingers and pulled her face towards me to look at her. Her eyes were glowing, that means it's her wolf who's in control. Max took control from me and moved forward to place our lips on hers.

It was soft gentle kiss, both letting each other known to their mate. Slowly the glow in her eyes started to fade meaning she's coming back in control. Max also left me in control as i deepend the kiss more, liking the feeling of my mate against my lips and in my arms.

She not only smell like strawberries but also taste sweet just like them. I slightly nudge her lips with my tongue to ask for an opening and nibbled some more. She slightly opened her mouth and i shoved my tongue inside at the chance given to me.

I explored all of her mouth with my tongue placing one of my hands on the back of her head and another one on her waist.

I felt her getting out of breath so i pulled away from the kiss. Not being able to be away from her even slightly, i placed my my forehead on hers and took deep breaths smiling at the moment where I'm with my mate.

Damn! I'm already in love with her.
