Mated to the Devil

Estelle's POV

Oh no!!! This can't be happening. I actually kissed someone. This is the first time I've been this close to some. Also this was my first kiss. And i actually enjoyed it makes it more awkward.

And to think that my mate is the most feared alpha that made my packmates shiver is just unbelievable.

As he held me in his arms, i thought about what i heard back in the ground. After i came out of my daze, i heard gossips about him.

Flashback

"Oh my god, that's Alpha Cornett. He's that cruel, ruthless and heartless alpha everyone is talking about."

"To think that he actually came.."

"I heard he worship devil and that's why moon goddess didn't give him a mate.."

No that's wrong. He actually has a mate. And that's me. And he wasn't able to find me till now is because i was in forbidden forest.

Wait. He's heartless? Is he just like Alpha Allen? No, i can't be mated to him if that's the case.

End of the flashback.

I shifted a little to get out of his embrace. But i actually like the feeling of being in his arms.

He unwrapped his arms and looked into my eyes as he placed his hand over my left cheek.

"Where were you? I was looking for you for years and almost thought i didn't had a mate." He said. I looked into his eyes, trying to find any trace that could prove he was lying. But i can't. He was telling the truth. His eyes held adoration and happiness and relief.

I couldn't reply him. I can't tell him that i was in the forbidden forest. I just met him and don't know how he actually is. No. I don't trust the rumours. I'm just cautious. My identity is quite sensitive is what mother nature said.

"What's your name, little mate?" He asked. "Estelle." I whispered softly.

And then a heart melting smile appeared on his lips, melting me into a puddle. And what he did next made my heart skip a beat. "Estelle." He tested out my name. Goshhh, my name never sounded this sexy. I bit my lower lip and looked at he ground to hide my embarrassment.

"My name's Asper. And you might've already know who I am. It's just I'm not like what rumours say about me." He said with his voice laced with nervousness.

"It's ok. With me being your mate it has already proven that those rumours are false." I said with a small smile.

He smiled and said "can I kiss you again?" My face heated up in embarrassment. I heard him chuckle and softly pat my head. I smiled as i realise that he just now teased me.

We talked as we walked back to the packhouse. I saw the alpha coronation ceremony was ongoing, but everyone stopped as soon as we made appearance. Everyone shifted their attention to us.

Well mostly to me. Because no one dared to look at the famous Alpha Cornett. I blushed as i tried to hide behind Aspen. I relaxed as soon as I felt his hand snake around my waist.

A guy with light brown eyes and deep blue eyes came as said to Aspen "Alpha. We've place your belongings in the room assigned to you." Aspen nodded. "Alpha, this is?" He asked looking at me.

And what he said next made everyone shocked and start gossip. "My mate." He said in a possessive and proud tone. The guy nodded and then the three of us headed to his assigned room.

I excused myself and head towards the bathroom leaving the men to talk. I washed my face to remove my ugly makeup. Although most of it has already been removed and i was glad my glasses helped me to keep it unnoticeable by the pack members.

As i stepped outside of the bathroom, i heard a sharp intake of breath. I looked towards the sound and found my mate looking at me in awe. My face heated up as i tried to explain "I use makeup to keep a low profile."

I saw them both nod in understanding. That's when we heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Aspen said in his deep voice. "Hi, I'm Ashley Waters. I'm here looking for Estelle." Ashley said looking in my direction. Oh. And i forgot to tell you she's the only one who has seen me without makeup.

I saw Aspen frowned, probably not wanting me to go away from me. He put his hand around my waist to prove that i belong to him as he said "No. Whatever you want to say, say it here."
