Y/n has been very unlucky with the mom shes been given. Shes one of those that forces there child to be an actor because they never got the opportunity to. Shes basically forcing y/n to live a dream that isnt hers.
Y/n recently bucked the show kirby buckets. It's a kids show and shes going to be playing kirby buckets love interest.
Y/n really didnt want to do this. She respects people that do but this isnt for her.
" okay so do you remember all your lines" the mum asked taking this more seriously than y/n is.
" yes" she said tiredly. She was tired off all this shit.
" and your ready for your first scene" she nagged.
" yes" y/n said getting moodier.
" good because if you mess this up I'm going to be so disappointed in you" she said almost in a angry threatening voice.
Y/n nodded fearfully. Her mum acts like a psycho when it comes to her acting gigs.
" okay go and put your custome on" she said.
Y/n went away to the wardrobe room when she felt the urge to cry. Why can't she just be a normal kid and do normal kid things? All this acting stuff sucked. She literally has no interest in it.
" are you okay" a voice behind her asked.
She turned around and saw the kid that was going to be playing kirby buckets. Jacob bertrand. He was cute.
" oh yeah I'm good" she lied quickly wiping her tears.
" are you sure? I saw you with your mom. It looked kinda intense" he said making y/n cry even more.
" yeah I guess it was" she cried.
" look I know you don't know me but were going to be co stars so you can talk to me which I know is strange because we just met but I want my co stars to be happy" he smiled sweetly. That smile melted y/n heart. This kid was so sweet.
" its just my mom shes just a bit of a control freak when it comes to me acting" she admitted.
Jacob frowned sadly. He instantly knew what she was talking about even though he was a kid himself but hes met other kids that have been forced into the industry by there parents. He was lucky he actually enjoyed it even though he had no intention In being an actor. It was his sister that got him into it even though she ended up hating it.
" you don't want to be here do you" he asked softly.
Y/n shook her head no.
" my mum always wanted to be an actor but she never became one and now she wants me to live her dream for her but it isnt my dream. I don't even know what my dream is but I know it's not this" she said sadly.
Jacob pulled her into a hug. He doesn't know whether she likes hugs or not and its probably weird hugging a stranger but it looks like she really needs one.
" I'm sorry you have to go through that but it it means anything to you I'm glad your here and maybe one day you'll tell your mom this isn't what you want and go after your own dream whatever that is and I hope you get to figure it out soon" he said in a soothing voice.
Jacob stroked her hair to calm her down and even gave her a little kiss to relax her. He didnt know whether he should or not but it made y/n blush crazily.
" thank you even though I don't want to be here I'm glad I am otherwise I wouldn't of got to meet you" y/n finally let go of the hug and wiped her tears and smiled. Jacob thought she had a beautiful smile.
" no problem like I said I want my co stars to be happy and I'm glad I made you smile. You have a really nice smile" he said making y/n blush again.
" you do too. I'm y/n"she said putting her hand out for him to shake.
"Jacob" he shook her hand.
And this how the pair met and how there friendship started and slowly became a relationship around about the time Jacob started cobra kai. Y/n finally did tell her mum she didn't want to be an actor and she finally found her dream which was a nurse making Jacob prouder than ever and y/n is grateful to her mum because if she didnt do kirby buckets she never would of met Jacob. So that's one thing she can thank her for.
