Sebastian POV
Location Setting: Grand Staircase
Two days had passed since the incident.
Rumors were spreading like wildfire about Ominis and Y/n's newfound relationship. Ominis remained quiet and didn't speak about it at all.
After our charm class had ended, the classroom was abuzz with energy. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits, except for Y/n who was avoiding eye contact with both of us, especially Garreth.
I had a nagging suspicion that he had spiked everyone's drink during the night. It was hard to imagine such a calm and collected Ravenclaw suddenly become so dauntless overnight.
For the past two days, I had been keeping a close eye on Ominis, trying to figure out what was going on between them. Were they really in a relationship, or was it just a drunken mistake? Maybe she do have a feeling towards Ominis? These thoughts circled around in my head as I tried to piece together what was happening between them.
"Sebastian, don't you have Quidditch practice?" Ominis asked as he walked down the stairs with his wand in hand. "The match is tomorrow."
"I'm planning on skipping today. My body need some rest before the game," I replied.
I lied, I thought to myself as I walked through the corridors. The events of the celebration party were still haunting me, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off between Ominis and Y/n. I couldn't just leave them alone until I found out the truth.
"So.. how's your day?" I initiated a conversation with Ominis, before getting to the real question.
"What's the matter with you?" Ominis raised one of his eyebrow. "We've been together all morning, even in Charm's class." he continued.
"Oh, it's just, well – something to ask to a friend." I said awkwardly to Ominis. "What a good wand you are." He replied, still seeming distant.
"Ah-ha-ha, yeah." I let out an awkward laugh, trying to break the silence between us.
"What, Sebastian?" Ominis asked, his expression indicating that he knew I had something on my mind.
I sighed, I should have just been straight with him, "It's been two days, Ominis. Aren't you going to speak to her?" I asked him.
"Why does me not speaking to her have something to do with you?" he replied, and stopped his pacing.
"Well, Nothing?" I implied, not wanting to ask directly, remembering back he was completely flustered by the kiss.
Ominis hesitated for a moment before responding, "Good then?" And proceeded down the staircase.
I shrugged my shoulders, well there you go, Ominis being shallow as ever, "Good? It's not good, if you're both aren't talking. Then how am I suppose to talk to her too?" I added, expressing my feelings wanting to talk to Y/n.
"The last time I recalled, Sebastian. Both of you have been sneaking tombs to tombs without telling me. Plus, she's been avoiding me with that silly robe on." Ominis replied, his wand abruptly swishing towards a particular direction, prompting him to follow it.
I awkwardly cleared my throat before answering Ominis. "Well, I just thought maybe you'd want to clear the air after what happened at the party." I said, trying to be as delicate as possible.
Suddenly, Ominis came to a halt, causing me to bump into his back. "Oh, hello there Sebastian!" Cressida greeted me. "Why aren't you practicing? Ready to admit defeat?" she added with a smirk.
