A Life Saving (Wrong Number)

Avengers' POV

"Wanda: He's too far away from here, I never did it before... I don't know if I can."

"Clint: Wanda, look at me. I know you are capable of doing this and much more. You're one of the most powerful people I've ever known. You can do it. Do it for Peter... do it for you. Believe in yourself as much as I believe or more. I'm here for you."

Wanda, looking to Clint with teary eyes, shook her head, then took a deep breath, and closed her eyes to try again. This time -after many tries- she got it. She could feel Peter, she could see him... and she could show them what she was seeing.

"Bruce: God..."

"Tony: I swear, when we get outta here, I will go after this elf from shopee"

"Natasha: I will help you"

"Green Goblin, with his hands holding Peter's neck: Your weakness, Peter, is morality. It's choking you! Can you feel it?"

May runs to Green Goblin and injects the cure in his neck. He squawks, rips it out and throws it to the ground.

"Green Goblin: It didn't work. Norman was right. He got it from you" - he stomps on Peter's back and he hits his head in the wreckage - "That pathetic sickness!"

"Tony: I swear..."

"Pepper: I can't watch it anymore"

"Yelena: I feel useless watching this and not being able to do something"

He then pulls Peter up by his head, forcing him to look at his aunt as May grabs a rebar from the broken ceiling.

"Tony: Friday, try to open the compound again."

"Friday: Sir, I already-"

"Tony: Try again. I don't care how, just do it."

Green Goblin: You tried to fix me...

"Peter weakly, looking at his aunt's doppelganger: May, go... May..."

"Green Goblin: Now, I'm gonna fix you."

"Peter, weakly: May, run... please"

"Kate: Oh no..."

Every Avenger knew what was about to happen

The Goblin's glider, flies through the doors, breaking the windows and hitting May, sending her to the ground

"Peter: MAY!"

"Steve: Oh my God... he had to watch it again"

"Tony: Friday?!"

"Friday: On it, sir"

"Tony: Try to be faster... please"

The glider circles around the destroyed place and the Goblin jumps on it. While Peter tries to get up, the Green Goblin turns to him

"Green Goblin: Peter, Peter, Peter. No good deed goes unpunished. You can thank me later."

He shot a glance towards May, who is nearly dead. Spider-man realizes what's about to happen, when the villain sets the timer of a pumpkin bomb and toss it to where May is layed

"Peter: NO"

The Green Goblin flies away as Peter jumps towards the bomb and barely manages to knock it away, before it detonates

"Avengers: PETER!"

Wanda, who was levitating, almost fell, but managed to stay still. She was crying, everyone was watching to what was happening, but only she was feeling what Peter was feeling, and it was torturing.

May and Peter slowly got up on their feet, still coughing

"Kate: Ah, maybe she's okay..."

"Sam: I really wanted to believe in this..."

"Peter: May?"

"May: Peter..."

"Peter: May, I'm here."

May runs and hugs him tightly

"Peter: I'm here. Are you okay?"

"May: Uh-huh" - She then releases him, and almost fall, stumbling in her own feet

"Peter: It's okay. We're okay, right?"

"May: Uh-huh. Yeah. Knocked off my head"

"Peter: Yeah, me too"

"May: That's all"

"Peter, hissing: I think I broke my ribs"

"Bruce: Wish it was just the ribs. He probably broke at least half of his bones"

They stand together looking at the wreckage

"Peter: This is all my fault"

"May: N-no..."

"Peter: I should've just listened to Strange and let him send them back..."

"Sam: Talking about Strange, where is he?"

"Bucky: Yeah... he's missing too"

"Scott: Oh no... what if-"

"Natasha: No. Stop it."

"May: You did the right thing. They would've been killed. You did the right thing."

"Peter: It's not my responsibility, May."

"May: Oh. What N-Norman said? "My moral mission"? No, no, no."

"Peter: No, May, you don't"

"May: No. No, Peter. You listen. You listen to me. You have a gift. You have power. And with great powers, there must also come great responsibility. That's what my husband said to my Peter before he died. My nephew was a Spider-man too. I lost the love of my life and my nephew."

"Peter: Oh"

"May: I couldn't say goodbye to him, and I won't let you think that it (she pointed to herself) is your fault. I wanted to help you. Now let's get the hell outta here. I just... need to... catch..." - She collapses to the ground and Peter got her

"Rhodey: It's happening..."

"Steve: I wish we could be there to him"

"Pepper: Me too... wait. Where's Tony?"

Then the compound opens again, the lockdown was over

"Tony: I'm here! And I got it."

"Natasha: You did it!"

"Clint: How?"

"Tony: I'll explain later. Now let's get our kid"

"Peter: What happened? Are you okay? Yeah, you're okay. What happened?"

May tries to smile, with a big effort

"May: Just help me... to catch my breath..."

"Peter: Okay. We'll catch your breath. I'm right here. We're gonna take our time, you catch your breath, and... and we'll take you to a doctor. My uncle... Bruce. He- he's a doctor. He can help you, okay..."

Bruce smiled sadly at his nephew words

They were in their big van. They were rushing to Happy's condo. It wasn't too far, so they would get there quickly

While this, Peter took his fingers off his aunt's shoulder and noticed that they were covered in blood. He looked at her sadly and in tears

"May: Are you okay?"

"Peter: Somebody help! I need an ambulance! Please, somebody..."

"Pietro: We're coming, Pete."

"May, not understanding: What happened?"

"Peter: Nothing. You're okay. You're okay."

"May: I'll just... catch my breath..."

"Peter: Okay. I'm right here. I'm right here. I'm right here. We're okay. Just me and you."

May stops breathing

"Peter: May?"

At that moment, everyone is crying. Wanda was crying so hard, she started to choke. But she stayed showing them the visions

"Peter: May? Will you look at me, May? Please? May? May? What are you doing, May? Please, will you just wake up and talk to me, please?"

"Happy: Peter! run!"

"Peter, to May (shaking and crying): I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

The Avengers arrived at the place, they got off of their van and saw many officers surrounding the place, they were getting near when they saw Happy Hogan being arrested by some officer and Tony got angrier with that and then went to help his friend, when they got there, they saw that Peter wasn't there anymore.

Wanda fell on the floor and the visions stopped, Pietro ran to get her before she could really fell, and was hugging her.

What they saw was a traumatizing experience. A boy who lost his aunt for the second time. Their kid. Broken, sad, feeling alone, guilty...

And now they had to find him...
