After a few years, Gru and Shrek became friends and bonded over how they were betrayed by Grug.
Sadly, The Lorax's life just seemed to get worse because the onecler died soon after his confession. He became depressed and had thoughts of suicide. Luckily, he realized that he needed help and searched for joy in his friends and family and went to therapy. (Ironically, his therapist is Grug.)
