The Student Involvement Fair is today.

If I want to be in one next semester, I'd have to sign up today...

I walk slowly down the hall, trying not to get too close to the tables in fear the club members would try to talk to me.

I didn't want to get their hopes up.

A display of books with a giant sign reading Books Without Borders catches my attention.

I walk a little closer. Their mission states they concentrate on gathering reading materials for areas that could benefit from them.

"Seolli?" My eyes shift to the brunette standing next to the sign. I'm surprised that he remembers my name, and also by the fact that I would see him again.

He smiles and calls me over, holding out a pamphlet toward me. "Are you interested?"

Thankful, I accept it into my hands. I answer quietly, "I think so..."

"Hm?" Beomgyu lowers his face so he can hear me better.

"U-um." I forget how quiet my voice is.

Someone behind me cuts in, "-Excuse me, does this club meet weekly or monthly?"

I get nervous that I'm blocking the student's way, shrinking myself and stepping aside.

Beomgyu clears his throat, "I'll help you out in a second."

"S-sure," I breathe out but I'm surprised when Beomgyu turns back to me, having meant his words to the other student.

He gives me a small smile and points to the pamphlet. "It's fun! We dedicate days to pick up books from libraries and schools, and deliver them to other libraries and schools that would be happy to use them. The schools stops are cute since the children get excited."

That does sound like fun...

He whispers, smiling. "Sign up is today but if you want... I could let you think about it and sneak your name in on Friday."

My eyes widen. He's too nice!

Not wanting him to have to go and do that, I pick up the pen and write my name on the paper. I'm set on my decision anyway.

Beaming, I look at Beomgyu whose smile grows. "We can even read to them," he tells me before turning toward the other student.

I nod and start to walk away, and as I do he waves with both hands. I do the same.

I spot Taehyung sitting on steps in the lounge. He's surrounded by people as always, and I'm sure they're asking what organization he's going to join. I don't blame them because it would be fun to have him in the same organization.

As if he sensed my presence, he looks my way. I give him a tiny wave, but didn't expect him to come straight away.

"Oh, what's this?" He gently takes the pamphlet out of my hands.

I blush. "I joined an organization."

"Really? Did you really?" He grins and looks at me surprised.

I nod. "I have time and I think they're doing something good. Are you...."

He shakes his head. "I'm picking up hours at my job next semester. I took this one easy since it's my first."

I'm a little sad that he has to miss out on the fun, but if he works at a doctor's office, he's doing important work.

He chuckles, returning my pamphlet. "Don't feel bad. I'm excited to hear all about yours, and if there's volunteer sign-up for a day I'm available, I'll do it."

My eyes light up.

He clears his throat, and plays with his backpack straps. "I'm happy that you're trying out new things, and you'll meet so many people that way."

I agree. I'm proud of myself for doing something that makes me nervous. At least I know one person in the organization. Even if I end up being by myself, I won't mind too much. I'll be busy.

I feel his gentle hand pat my head. "Just make time for me too!"

Of course.

People start moving quickly to get to their next class. While I get to go home, Taehyung still has other classes.

He starts walking backwards. "Bye, Seolli."

"Bye, Taehyung." I wave, getting butterflies in my stomach by how he always says my name.

On my way home, I'm surprised to see a text come through. Isn't he in the middle of lecture?

I have something important to ask you on Thursday.

I hold the phone close to my chest, almost losing my breath.

What could it be?
