The adults made it to where they heard Vash and the large man, hearing the blonde try and call out to Rollo and make him remember but as seconds went by, it was no use.
"He shouldn't even try, he's lost it already" Nicholas spoke as he groaned again and fell from Norie's lean.
"Are you okay? I'll take you back to Meryl and Roberto, I'll come back to help-"
"No. I doubt you interfering by yourself will make it any better" he cut her off.
She went to say something but jumped when they heard multiple harsh slams against the metal and saw the large man hitting Vash on the wall behind him.
"Vash!"
"No Norie! I told you, don't!" Nicholas yelled as he grabbed her before she could run.
He cursed underneath his breath and Norie saw him pull out a tiny vile from his suit jacket pocket, placing the tip between his teeth and broke it off.
"What is that-"
Before she could ask, Nicholas drank what was inside swiftly and pointed his cross at their target.
"You dumbass!"
She yelped when the familiar laser shot out and went towards him, knocking the mask he had on his face. The attack catching him off guard as he let go of Vash, falling towards the edge where a death height waited.
Norie saw Vash try and grab Rollo's hand before he fell but his finger tips brushed against his, she stared with wide eyes while Nicholas fell back as he landed against her chest. She wrapped her arms around his torso before he fell.
"I really want to go to the trailer..." he mumbled as Norie only sighed.

Once Meryl and Roberto met back with the trio, Vash immediately walked to where Rollo had landed. His lifeless body lying on the sand as everyone stood in silence, not until the blonde walked up to him and frowned.
"Wake up Rollo..."
"Please wake up Rollo!"
Norie stared as this sight wasn't new for her, bringing her back to that night 10 years ago. The same setting as the sun was peeping from the horizon, gripping the chainsaw gun' handle tightly as she heard Vash call out.
