And with those words he stopped, Meryl sighed in relief as she looked up at him as Nicholas stared ahead. He looked at her as she nodded and said "she'll be gone why won't you realize that?"
"She's already gone, don't try to brainwash me for some woman. I could care less where she goes, it doesn't bother me" he quickly changed his face and shoved her away to continue walking.
"No- no undertaker! Please!" Meryl pleaded.
She looked in between them as she cursed and quickly started running after Norie, luckily she wasn't as far. Meryl breathed heavily as she tried to reach her and talk to get back to Nicholas before he can leave.
"Norie!"
"Norie! Wait!" Meryl called out and grabbed her arm.
"Oh Meryl, I was just about to go. It was nice being around you, I'll see you when I do-"
"No! Stop it you can't go! You can't let him leave!" Meryl begged as she tugs on the amber eyed womans hand
"Who? Nicholas?" Norie said before scoffing.
"It's his choice if he wants to go, let him be alone! He likes to anyway, I was nothing but a hotel to him. Ever since meeting him everything got crazy! So I think I'll be fine going back to my regular days" she spat out and started to walk again.
"Norie he doesn't want too! Just like the undertaker, you don't know how to express your feelings! But I know that a long the way and in some time that you both will eventually give in and see that!" Meryl explained.
"Jesus Meryl I just hate that man!" Norie finally yelled.
She groaned in frustration and yelled "I hate him!"
Meryl saw her go quiet as Norie slowly released a breath as she took the small metal cross from her sleeve, she couldn't leave his gift thrown onto the floor, even if she was mad she still wanted to take it.
"...but I still want him..."
Meryl froze at her words as Norie gripped the cross and said "I welcomed him to let him stay...I didn't want him to go"
"But it's to late, hes leaving, and I'll respect it..."
Norie turned to her and smiled softly, her dimples and the sparkle in her eye heavenly as she says "take care of yourself Meryl darling"
