"He's dead"

Vash turned to him and began "why'd you shoot..."

"Why did you shoot Rollo?!" He yelled as he grabbed him by the collar.

"Mercy"

Nicholas shoved Vash' hands off him and said "There's no way to return his humanity."

"Keeping him alive is torture"

"That's not for you to decide" Vash spoke up.

"Boys come on-"

"Your hypocrisy is showing" Nicholas cut Norie off.

"You're the one saying things you can't even make good on. At best, it's all talk"

"We better move now, who knows who else must be here. It's better safe then sorry if we stand here and talk back,  and Vash darling, I'm sorry it had to end this way. Norie spoke as she grabbed their shoulders

"Their was nothing you could've done, even if there was, it wouldn't have changed anything"

Vash felt her soft finger turn his head to face her by the chin softly, her soft angelic smile easing him as she says "besides, you came back"

"That's all that matters"

He stared at her before a couple seconds later, giving her a weak smile but frowned immediately as he looked away. They then walked back to the car, Norie winced at the soreness behind her head as she got inside.

Nicholas sitting next to her as Vash was on her otherside, she held the back of her head and sighed.

"Never thought you had that in you" Nicholas spoke to her.

She turned to him as he looked out the window, his arms behind his head as they drove off. Norie shook her head and says "I did nothing but fail"

"Like you said, you haven't used the gun in like what? 10 years? You'll get use to it before you know it." Nicholas responded.

She huffed slightly and said "are you being nice?"

"...whatever" he only mumbled.

Norie stared at him with a small smirk before chuckling softly, Nicholas froze when she leaned back and rested the back of her head on the right side of his chest. He looked down at her as his arms and hands were up in a way that he shouldn't touch her.

But then he slowly brought his arms down, he wrapped one arm around her shoulder and used the other to rest his head on it. Noticing Meryl staring at them through the rearview mirror.

She smirked before he glared and pretended to lunge at her making her yelp and look away.

"The authorities have not yet been able to track down the plant thief terrorizing the region."

Norie didn't pay attention to the rest of what the radio was saying, she was only focusing on Vash and Nicholas. They haven't said anything to each other, their heads turned away to look out the windows of the car.
