"Why do you care what I say to her?!" She argued.

"I don't! You just talk to much!" He spat.

The little girl laughed and said "See you've gone soft punisher! Never thought you'd leave only to get married-"

"We're not married!" The adults cut her off as they walked off to the side.

Norie and Nicholas went to the elevator where they waited inside for Vash, they noticed him crouched down beside the girl. The guy with the cross turned to the jet black haired woman, who eyed some of the cuts on her shoulders but brushed it off.

"Even with doing nothing they confuse us" Nichol spoke.

Norie sighed and said "maybe we can't control it"

She then smirked and jokingly says "not that you mind, do you?"

He froze as he gritted his teeth at the feeling in his stomach that almost made him faint making him look at Vash and say "oi! Needle-noggin!"

"Leave the little creep alone and let's scram!"

"What a load of babysitting this turned out to be" Nicholas said as he, Vash and Norie walked down a hall.

The amber eyed woman walked in between the two boys as he continued. Knowing that they would have to split up after this, Norie had to go back home with Nicholas. She felt like she's been gone for years, ready to rest but knew she had to clean out the trailer from poor stuff since the heat had been trapped inside.

They stopped walking as Nicholas says "Dragging someone so eager to die all the way out here alive...but it's done now"

Nicholas turned to Vash who gave him an appreciative smile and says "thanks for everything"

The blonde then turned to Norie, he smiled and said "you too, thank you. For being kind and wrapping me up!"

"Are you sure you don't want me to-"

"No he's not a baby, he can manage" Nicholas cut her off.

"I wasn't asking you" Norie mumbled annoyingly.

"I'll be okay Norie, I really mean it when I say that you-"

"welp needle-noggin, babysitting' over" Nicholas cut him off by wrapping his arm around Norie's shoulders.

"Don't be rude! You cut him off!" She spoke.

"Think I need a massage or two from you" Nicholas says as he turned them around since he still had his arm around Norie.

"As if! Remember YOU owe ME one!" She argued back.

Vash sighed and shook his head with a smile before turning away, Norie gripped her chainsaw gun as Nicholas hanged his arm off her shoulders. She looked down at his hand, seeing his fingers moving as if he his rewiring something.

Remembering that he had touched the burning hot handle, she let her curiosity out again. Nicholas tensed up when he felt her cold soft hand grab his, Norie ran her fingertips down his fingers.
