"Tell me now" she said.

Nicholas looked down at her as Norie stared up towards him, her golden like irises pulling him in. Liking the coolness mixing up with his warmth, just that thought made him panic inside. He blinked and looked away.

"Well.." Nicholas responded.

"I was tested on, me and that guy we come across with, Livio. Changed my body in the most unpleasant way" he spoke as he tried not to tense more noticeably since she passed her palm across his.

"You were young?"

"Yeah"

Norie stared down at their hands, their palms and fingers alined perfectly. That one move to the right or left would have them locked in, Nicholas took noticed and looked over.

"So you can heal?"

"Mhm"

  Ever since knowing each other for 10 months, they've only wanted to go back home.

That simple sentence that had slowly been changing it's meaning, knowing that if they were in the same town separated. They'd look for each other first, but knew that they would cover it up as a "Oh, there you are".

When in reality, they'll feel like they found their comfort once more. But of course, the two adults are confused. Hoping that something small would shove them and give them the answer.

At one point, they're annoyed at each other and argue at the smallest things. Then the next, Nicholas is either using Norie's lap as a headrest or wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Then she's not pushing him away, only bringing him closer without even knowing.

And why were they confused? Norie hadn't been with someone this long with, especially with someone that's around her age. She said all the time that she wanted to be alone, eat alone, sleep alone and die alone.

But meeting Nicholas, she's been contemplating whether she even wanted the spot next to her bed empty.

And with him, Nicholas was never the type to show interest. Nor the type to get close to the point where his hair is getting trimmed while sitting between the legs of a woman he looked for each time she's gone from his sight.

Not caring about anything but does when Vash is the one making her laugh, him being the one that makes her dimples appear and her eyes light up. He was confused on what it was he had in his chest that was so painful to watch it.

Their hands were still perfectly alined as Norie felt a soft feeling pass by her chest at the feeling Nicholas' body warmth. He stared as he gulped softly, they breathed out when Nicholas softly and slowly slid his hand over an inch.

Norie waited as his fingers were slowly making their way in between hers.

"...nicholas" she began as she stopped walking.

"Mhm"

Norie turned to look up at him as she tried to put her mind off their hands, she gulped and looked into his eyes behind his shades. Nicholas looked down at her as he had unwrapped his arm from around her.
