1│ Experiment

It all started when Orochimaru took her out of the incubator tank. The moment the brown-haired girl took her first breath, the snake Sannin looked down at her and gave her that sinister smile.
"How are you feeling dear?" he asked waiting for the small girl's senses to come back to her troubled brain.
"Ugh.... mmm," The moment Kasami started to formulate an answer her nerves started to burn. She felt as if her body was on fire from the inside out. Her screams resonated throughout the underground hideout. Without warning, everything in that lab started shaking, things were levitating and the walls started to crumble.
Orochimaru winced as the screams were hurting his sensitive ears, and the air around him became thicker and it made it harder to breathe. Then he noticed everything that was happening around him "Kabuto, the tranquilizer."
Kabuto immediately injected Kasami with a green substance and her body went limp on his arms. Everything immediately stopped moving, and the things that were floating started falling as the girl lost consciousness, "It was too soon," Kabuto said eyeing the child with malice.
"Ah, Perhaps you are correct," Orochimaru turned to his computer and typed his observations. "But did you see the mess she caused? her chakra is not stable and I know exactly what to do."
"More experiments?" Kabuto asked placing the girl on a table.
"What can I say, she was just created a couple months ago and her growth is staedy." Orochimaru looked at the child on the table, "from all the embryos, she is the only one that is still alive and taking all the modifications well."

One year later
"Kasami, pay attention," Orochimaru shouted as he sent another fire attack her way.
"I c-can't," she jumped dodging the attack, "I can't keep building chakra shields."
"Well, in that case, you won't eat, drink or sleep until you master the chakra control needed," Orochimaru said wiping his hands on a rag.
"I don't think I can do it," Kasami said almost in a whisper, "it hurts, it hurts a lot."
"You are able to manipulate other's chakra, why is it that you can control yours?" he asked looking down at the girl who was kneeling on the floor. "I'm sure you can make a simple chakra shield to protect yourself from my attacks."
"I don't even know how I do that," Kasami's voice was low with a hint of fear, "it just happens."
"Well, you better figure it out or I will dispose of you," the snake sannin said before walking out of the training area.
