Tommy ran to Purpled and tackled him to the ground. "OW- Get off me!" Purpled said, his voice muffled. Tommy grinned. "No." He said and Purpled groaned. "To- Timothy. Get off." He said and Tommy sat on his back, still grinning.
"No." He said and Purpled groaned. "Fine. But you asked for it." He grumbled, and Tommy felt himself starting to float in the air. "Wait, WHAT IS HAPPENING." Tommy said. Purpled grinned and started to sit up.
"Magic." He said with a grin. Tommy stared at him blankly and then gasped. "Wait, MAGIC?!" He said and Purpled laughed. Tommy noticed the faint glow coming from under Purpled's hood. Tommy stared at him and then launched at him and hugged him tightly.
"Oh my God, Purpled, I'm so proud of you!" Tommy said and Purpled blushed. Purpled had been studying magic and was trying to perform it, but he was a beginner at it. "How- How did you learn?!" Tommy said, leaning back to look at Purpled's flushed face.
"I'll tell you, but we should get out of the Headquarters Lobby first." He said with a laugh and Tommy nodded. "Got it." He said with a smile, getting off Purpled and helping him up. "Oh, did you see the message in the group chat?" Tommy asked Purpled as they headed towards the train station. Purpled nodded and looked at the train. When Tommy was far enough from the Headquarters, he quickly opened his shirt pocket and Clementine slipped inside.
"Do you think it has something to do with the festival?" He asked and Tommy thought about it, then nodded. "Probably." He said as they stepped onto the train. They quickly got their seats and soon the train was filled.
Not many of the people were heading to District 17, but the train ran through a lot of the districts, and District 17 was close to Headquarters. Tommy and Purpled talked the rest of the way and soon they arrived at District 17. The train doors opened and Tommy smiled when he saw the familiar train station.
"Ah, home sweet home," Tommy said, grinning as the two walked out of the station. "So, now that we're home, I need to ask you something," Tommy said to Purpled, who looked at him. "Yeah, sure. What?" He asked and Tommy looked at him with eager eyes that made Purpled regret ever asking.
"HOW DID YOU LEARN MAGIC?!" Tommy said eagerly, cornering Purpled against a wall. Purpled looked away with a faint blush on his cheeks. He mumbled something and Tommy realised he had cornered him. His face turned a light shade of red with embarrassment.
"Sorry-" He said, stepping back. He didn't mean to corner Purpled, it had just... happened. Purpled mumbled something again, it sounded like what he had mumbled before. "I can't hear you," Tommy said. Purpled coughed and looked back at Tommy.
"It was Minx." He said quietly as Tommy's eyes widened. "MINX?! YOU- YOU MEAN THE DEMON WOMAN?!" Tommy yelled in shock and Purpled nodded quietly. "HOLY SHIT! SHE IS SO POGGERS!" Tommy yelled, engulfing Purpled in another hug. Purpled smiled and hugged Tommy back.
"You're like Tubbo sometimes. You both have the same energy." He said and Tommy looked at him. "He's my best friend," Tommy said flatly. Purpled laughed. "Yeah, I know. It's like some of his energy rubbed off on you." Purpled said and Tommy realised what he was talking about. "Oh-" He said with a blank face and Purpled laughed. "Alright, so where are we headed?" Purpled asked, the duo passing by Niki and Bad's Cafe. Tommy grinned.
"We're going to see Tubbo and Ranboo."
