I tried to realise what was happening as Death tried to protect the group of people on the stage. Timothy was an idiot, why would he do that? This wasn't how the festival was supposed to go! We were supposed to execute Tubbo, the crowd would be happy, we would celebrate, and then we and Timothy would spend the rest of the festival together!
I felt tears scorching my skin, but I didn't care. "T-Timothy, you i-idiot..." I stuttered as I felt my throat tighten. "They're gone!" Ph1LzA said, pointing at the empty force field. I took a step back and tripped. I started to hyperventilate as I moved backwards, towards the backstage. I knew the heroes were still here, they didn't leave the festival.
My vision started getting blurry as tears continued falling from my eyes. I felt the curtain and moved behind it, shielding myself from everyone. I heard the curtain open slightly and I saw a blurry Blade enter backstage. "Phantom?" He asked softly. I didn't respond as I continued crying.
"T-This wasn't how it was s-supposed to go, Blade." I managed to get out. Blade sat beside me as I brought my knees up to my chest, hugging my knees. He moved his mask to the side of his head and looked at the curtains.
"Hey... Don't blame yourself for it, alright? It wasn't your... It wasn't mostly your fault." Blade corrected himself while trying to comfort me. "B-Blade, I just messed up my relationship with Niki and Timothy. I- I just lost my childhood friend, Blade." I said, continuing to cry as I clenched my fists.
"Well, you're not wrong there..." He muttered and I groaned, mentally face-palming. He caught himself and tried to comfort me "Relationships can be fixed, Phantom." Blade said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "T-Thanks." I sniffled with a sad smile. Blade nodded and smiled, wrapping his arm around me.
"Hey, you should use some blue." Blade suggested and I gasped. "Oh, you're right!" I said, fishing in my pockets for the object. I pulled out the clear object and smiled. The object quickly filled up and the blue dye started seeping onto my hands. "W-What?" I mumbled, reaching into my pocket for another piece of clear dye. It quickly filled up again. After a few more times, it didn't fill up that quickly anymore and I sighed in relief.
The clear object, or "blue" as Blade and I called it, sucked out the holder's negative emotions and replaced them with good emotions. So basically I was supposed to use it when I'm really sad, and it really helps.
"Feel better?" He asked and I started to nod but I froze as I heard a scream. A child's scream. With a woman's voice in the background. "Wait..." I mumbled, my eyes widening. I listened closer and quickly recognized the voice of Sally Salmon. But in the background, there was something else. The unmistakable sound of... Holy shit. "I- I KNOW WHERE HE IS!" I said with shock as I quickly got up. "Know who where is?" Blade asked and I looked at him with an eager grin.
"FUNDY!"
