• Place his hand on your thigh while he is driving, when you two are alone.

• Try and impress you but ends up embarrassing himself.

• Ask if you want him to buy you something, and when you say no he buys it for you anyways.

• Make you tiny crafts out of things he finds, (Tiny paper hearts, rings, etc.)

• Put your needs before his, in any scenario.

• Try and make things innocent and happy for you, even if the worst is happening.

• Give you his flannel or leather jacket if you are cold.

• Try and cheer you up with dad jokes or gifts when you're sad.

• Say "I love you, be careful" every time you two hang up the phone or say goodbye to each other (not forever..).
