As he turned to look at you with the same hard look on his face, he looked annoyed, but his eyes were still soft and were full of something you couldn't quite place. Even if he seemed unbothered to you, in his mind, he was waiting for you to hit him again, almost hoping, believing that he deserved it for doing what he did.
