To The End Of An Apocalypse

At hearing Izuku's words, the student's glance at Katsuki. He glares at the person standing in front of all of them. 

"How the hell do you know my name extra?!" 

Izuku looks at Katsuki blankly for a moment, glances back at the plastic I.D in his hand, then pulls something else out from his other pocket. 

It's a white envelope. 

Izuku holds it out to Katsuki, his tired expression never changing. Katsuki looks at the envelope skeptically. 

"You might wanna read this. It's from Mitsuki Bakugou. Your mom." 

Katsuki's red eyes widen, snatching the envelop quickly. On closer inspection, it has his name written out in familiar handwriting. 

he rips the envelope open as fast as he can and takes out a letter. 

Dear Katsuki, 

this is total bullshit. I'm writing this letter to let you know that I'm still alive. I'm so, so sorry Katsuki. Your father got eaten by those monsters, but he died protecting me. He is the reason i was able to get out of the house and find help. 

they sent me to this place. it looks like it was built before all of this even happened, which is very fucking concerning. People are packed down here like sardines, but I'm safe. I sent this kid to come bring you back to me safely. 

Don't you worry. He looks scary, but he's a big crybaby so you can trust him. I hope i get to see you soon Katsuki. I love you very much.

Katsuki feels his eyes slightly water at the news about his father, but he sniffs and quickly wipes his eyes. like hell he's gonna cry in front of these damn rejects. 

He folds the letter safely back into the envelop and puts it into his uniform pocket. He looks at Izuku and his glare falters for a second. He gives him a nod and mumbles. 

"Thanks." 

He gets a nod back. 

"Your mother wants me to take you back to the base. It's at least two weeks away, so its gonna take some time to get there." 

Hanata Sero, who is standing close by to Katsuki, speaks. 

"Base?" 

Izuku looks at him and nods again. 

"Yes. After everything that happened, people were sent to a base away from the zombies." 

Izuku looks over the students closer. Silently, he puts his backpack down at one of the desks next to him. It lands with a loud thud and clinking as he digs into it. He pulls out a big container filled with stuff. 

He also takes out a water bottle, the liquid sloshing inside as he puts everything down at another desk. Someone's stomach rumbles at the sound. 

"It's not very much, but i got more food back at the truck. You all look like your starving so go ahead and eat." 

The students don't waste any time, bolting towards the food. Izuku takes a step back as he lets them tear the lid off of the container and water bottle. 

some students cry or laugh while shoveling food into their mouths and chugging the liquid in the water bottle with loud gulps and gasps.
