At Y/n's Highschool...

"Hey, Mr. Nishijima!" Y/n said as he, Izzy, Sora, and Tai walked into his classroom.

"Ah, you're here," Mr. Nishiijima said as he was sorting through a box on a small desk.

"Late again today?" Izzy asked as the four of them sat down at dt a desk.

"It must be rough for you, seeing as you have a lot of responsibility," Sora said as Mr. Nishijima smiled.

"Well, not bad as you guys," Mr. Nishijima said as he then put a paper bag filled with donuts on the desk. "Want some?"

"No thank you," Izzy politely declined as Y/n and Tai grabbed a donut.

"Looks great!" Tai and Y/n said as they both took a bite.

"Have some manners," Sora said to them as Y/n offered her the bag of donuts.

"Aren't you having any Sora?" Y/n offered while eating a bite of his donut. Sora stared at the bag for a moment before taking one.

"Well, it would also be rude to refuse," Sora said as she grabbed a donut while Y/n and Tai had sly smiles on their face.

"That out the way, I heard that another distortion appeared last night," Izzy said as Mr. Nishijima looked at them with a smile.

"Don't worry, we were able to take care of it," Mr. Nishijima said as Izzy then stood up.

"What? The infected Digimon? Do you mean it was small enough that your organization handled it? Or do you mean..." Izzy spouted out.

"Okay, calm down," Mr. Nishijima hushed Izzy who then sat back down and grabbed a donut.

"Thanks for the donuts," Izzy said as he took a bite.

"Well using data of where the distortions have occurred until now, we can speculate the places they may appear in the future. We plan to reinforce security in those locations," Mr. NIshijima explained as Y/n finished his donut.

"Oh so, we're not needed anymore?" Y/n questioned as Mr. Nishijima shook his head.

"No," Mr. Nishijima said as the four of them looked confused. 

"The infected Digimon are very likely to continue appearing around here. So please, be ever vigilant," Mr. NIshijima explained

"Especially you guys,"

The four of them then left the room, and they then turned around to say goodbye to Mr. Nishijima.

"Bye, Mr. Nishijima! See you around!" Y/n said as he closed the door to the room.

"Matt didn't come," Sora said sounding a bit disappointed as Tai started to walk away.

"He has band practice doesn't he?" Tai said as Y/n, Sora, and Izzy watched him walk away.

"I wonder what he meant," Y/n said thinking aloud," as Sora and Izzy looked towards him.

"What do you mean? Mr. Nishijima?" Sora asked Y/n who nodded.

"Yeah, when he said 'especially us' could that mean that the infected Digimon are after us?" Y/n thought to himself as Sora tensed up.
