The Very Next Day...

Y/n was in Kari, and Tai's apartment while Yukko was doing laundry outside, while the news was talking about a recent power outage yesterday.

"Power outages were seen all over Odaiba, that occurred at 7:52 PM yesterday. Although power has been recovered, the cause of the outage is still unknown. It is thought that the mysterious messages shown in some areas may be related to the cause," The news reporter said as Y/n, Tai, and Kari stared at the TV while Ludomon, Gatomon, and Agumon were eating snacks given to them by Y/n.

"Seems like things are starting to escalate..." Y/n said as he stared at the TV Tai nodded.

"You three are still here? You're gonna be late for school," Yukko said as the three then began to grab their bags and supplies.

"Okay," Kari said as she grabbed her bag and headed to the door.

"Oh, and Tai on your way back can you get eggs? Oh, and Millk too?" Yukko said.

"Sure... There's a big problem in society, but it's good to know mom's still the same." Tai said as Y/n smiled at the comment that Tai made.

"I'm hungry..." Agumon said as Y/n grew a tick mark.

"I just gave you food!" Y/n said as Kari giggled.

"Good to see you haven't changed either," Tai said with his eyes closed, as he couldn't see that Agumon's eye barely glitched, but the three of them didn't notice...

Timeskip

Y/n was walking around the school hallways, noticing that for the past few days that Izzy was not here, due to him working to find a way to get rid of the infection. Y/n sighed and closed his eyes.

"Y/n!" Y/n then opened his eyes as he saw Mimi in front of him.

"Mimi, what are you doing here?" Y/n asked as he tilted his head.

"What did you talk about with TK and Meimei?" Mimi asked Y/n.

"Well, I just talked to them about going out to a cafe to eat, they seemed pretty down," Y/n said as Mimi looked at him suspiciously.

"Fine... Meimei has been telling us she's fine the past few days, but I think she's lying..." Mimi said as she rubbed her arm.

"I mean what do you expect, her best friend killed one of our friends, and ran off without saying goodbye. I don't know what else she would do. The only thing we can do is try to get Meicoomon back who's infected or keep cheering her up" Y/n said as Mimi nodded.

"I guess... Thanks for talking," Mimi said as she then walked past Y/n.

"No problem..." Y/n said as he turned to her, before continuing to walk through the hallways of the school. As Y/n continued to walk through the hallways, of the school he looked out the window to see all of the group's Digimon walking past the school entrance to whoever knows.

"What the?!" Y/n said out loud as he started running toward's their partner Digimon to find out what they were doing out of Izzy's building.

As Y/n rushed out of the building he was going past multiple buildings, trying to find wherever their Digimon could be.

'Where are you guys?!" Y/n thought as he continued to look for the Digimon...
