Chapter 12 | TK and Patamon

"So anyway... Where are Ludomon and the others?" Y/n questioned as he looked over at the TV.

"They're in the cyberspace pocket dimension. It's the safest way to prevent the infection," Izzy said as he continued to type on his computer Y/n turned the TV and saw the Digimon waving at them.

"Hi, Y/n!' Ludomon said as he waved to Y/n who waved back.

"I will not lie to you guys, I found data errors from the infection in this room's PC," ZIzzy said as Joe and Y/n looked at him in shock.

"Wait what?!" Y/n and Joe said as they looked over at Izzy.

"Don't worry I dealt with it quickly, so it's fine now," Izzy said as the two of them then sighed, as Y/n grabbed the empty bottle of coffee from Izzy's desk.

"That's good, then, but..." Joe said but was interrupted by Izzy.

"Y/n... Did Ken do anything to Meicoomon while you were in the distortion? Have you experienced any weird symptoms lately?" Izzy asked Y/n who put his hand on his chin.

"Well... I can't remember well, but looking at Ken, he just held Meicoomon in his arms maybe he did something to her then, but no I haven't experienced anything lately," Y/n said as he pointed thumbs to Izzy who was still typing on the computer.

"When I stopped the infection on the PC, its data matched the time Meicoomon was infected at the festival," Izzy explained as Y/n and Joe walked closer to Izzy's desk.

"So the cause is around the same time," Joe asked as Izzy nodded.

"Once we research more, I believe we will be able to stop this infection," Izzy said.

"There's a problem with that, I don't think time is on our side," Y/n said as Izzy looked away from his computer.

"I mean Gomamon and Togemon were in Leomon's arms with Meicoomon who were both infected, so..." Y/n began to trail off.

"What are you saying Y/n?" Joe questioned as the three of them looked at the TV.

"It might just be a matter of time before any one of them turns..." Y/n said as he clenched his fist Joe was shocked at what he just heard. "But even though that's the case, you need to sleep Izzy, you look terrible,"

"Yeah at least take a shower or all the ladies will not like you," Joe said.

"Yeah, please tell him more Joe, it smelled like rancid acid the past few days!" Agumon said from inside the TV.

"Come on Izzy, you'll never be able to get a girlfriend if you're like this," Y/n said as Izzy seemed to hunch back down as the two went back to cleaning up...

Timeskip~

"Hey, Joe! Y/n! Izzy! What's this pile of trash doing here?" TK said as he entered the door and stared at the pile of trash.

"You'd rather not know," Y/n said as he was slouched on the chair, bored.

"Oh... Do you know where Izzy is?" TK asked as then both Joe and Y/n pointed to a corner of the room in which Izzy was wrapped in a blanket sleeping.

"He cried himself to sleep," Y/n said as the three of them stared at him.

"Maybe he feels responsible," TK suggested as he looked at Izzy.

"I get how he feels, just look at what the infected Meicoomon did," Joe said as TK turned to him.

"Maybe, it might also be that fight against Mimi," TK said as Joe and Y/n looked shocked.

"That is a good reason why he might be like this," Y/n said as he turned back to Izzy.

"Hey, it might get worse, if we're too pessimistic," Tk said as the others smiled. "So how was your date with Kari, Y/n?". Joe then looked at Y/n shocked
