It's been years since the Y/n and the other DigiDestined once entered the digital world and met their Digimon now in high school what will they do once it's now the Digimon enters their world?

As Y/n finally was able to track down the Digimon to see that they were under the bridge where the group usually did meetings. Y/n saw each of the group's Digimon and saw that Kari was also there, but something about her seemed... Different to say the least.

"Kari?" Y/n said quietly as he peeked around the corner to hear the conversation that Kari was having with the Digimon.
"The Digital World and the human world... Are currently in grave danger," Kari said in an echoey voice to the Digimon who stood there in bewilderment.
"What do you mean, Kari?" Ludomon asked as Kari didn't give him a direct answer, making Ludomon sweatdrop.
"You know there are Digimon, which are infected. They are disrupting the continuity of the quantized world," Kari explained as most of the Digimon looked confused.
"Quantized?" Palmon asked.
"Continuity?" Agumon asked as both were confused at the words Kari just used.
"The digital devices of the human world and the network born from them developed, and as if intertwining with that, the Digital World arose from the quantum sea. Every possible world has emerged in a multi-layered way, and the worlds quite similar yet different to one another lie side-by-side," Kari explained as Y/n was listening to every word Kari was saying.
"If the "Infected Digimon," as you call them, destroy the quantized world. The Digital World will likely cease to exist. Additionally, the human world will lose the benefit of electronics," Kari explained to Digimon who were tilting their heads confused at the information given to them.
"I don't get it, but..." Gabumon said but was interrupted by Tentomon.
"Are you saying the world will be destroyed?" Tentomon as he asked Kari who continued to do nothing, and stand there.
"Yes, indeed. You will all also perish along with the Digital World." Kari said scaring Digimon, and Y/n.
"Can't we prevent it?" Gabumon asked with determination in his eyes, as he waited for an answer with worry growing with every moment of silence.
"There's only one way to avoid that fate," Kari said as Ludomon stepped up.
"Tell us! What is it?" Ludomon said as he looked at Kari.
"A great sacrifice. The next time Meicoomon appears... Time... Will... Stop..." Kari said as she began to pass out, and Y/n came rushing out from his hiding spot to catch her.
"Kari!" Y/n said as he caught her in his arms.
"Y/n!?" The Digimon said as Y/n averted his eyes from them.
"What are you guys doing out of Izzy's building?" Y/n asked the Digimon who still seemed frightened by the information given to them.
"What are you doing out of school?" Palmon countered back at Y/n.
