It's been years since the Y/n and the other DigiDestined once entered the digital world and met their Digimon now in high school what will they do once it's now the Digimon enters their world?

As the train kept coming closer Ludomon and Gomamon just stood there watching it not moving an inch.
Honk! Honk! Honk!
Gomamon and Ludomon stared down the train, which seemed to be getting closer to them every moment until...
"Move, stupid!" Matt said as both he and Izzy dove for Ludomon and Gomamon tackling them out of the way of the train which rode past them as it blew its horn one final time, and it continued to move down the tracks until it was finally out of sight.
"Well, looks like this isn't the tracks to the trolley car," Izzy said, sweat dripping down his forehead.
"Yeah... But when has there been a train in the Digitial World... I can't recall," Matt said, looking at Izzy.
"When Y/n returns, I'll ask him how he makes these delicious snacks!" Ludomon said, looking at Matt as he tried to remember the delicious food from earlier.
"And I am interested in these stories you told me about Joe! I want to ask him what's fun about studying and what this "Girlfriend" even is!" Gomamon said as Matt and Izzy smiled, looking at the Digimon.
With Y/n, Gabumon, and Agumon...
"Y/n... Are we there yet?" Gabumon asked as he looked up at Y/n who was starting to have a hard time getting through the snow with his sneakers.
"No," Y/n said as he plowed through the snow.
"Are we there yet?" Agumon now asked as Y/n was starting to get a little irritated.
"No..." Y/n said as he let out a couple of grunts as they continued to move through the soft snow.
"Are we there now?" Gabumon and Agumon asked as Y/n grew a tick mark on his forehead, and turned to the two.
"If I give you two a snack, will you guys be quiet?" Asked with an unamused face, as both Gabumon and Agumon had a smile on their face.
"Deal!" The two of them said as Y/n sighed, went into his bag, and gave them each a candy bar, which they happily took. "Thank you!"
"Okay with that settled, we are starting to get somewhere!" Y/n said as he placed his hands on his hip and looked up where they were.
"And where is somewhere?" Gabumon asked as he continued to munch on the candy bar with Agumon in the background.
"W-Well, somewhere! I have been here before, and you see that large building over there to our right? That's the Ice Sanctuary. If we continue to move down this way, we should be able to make it to the Great Canyon, and maybe we might see one of our friends there," Y/n explained to the Agumon and Gabumon.
"Wait, you've been here before?" Gabumon asked, slightly confused about how they'd been here before.
"It's a long, and I mean LONG story, you should ask him," Y/n said to Gabumon with a smile as they continued to track their way through the snow.
"What happens if we don't find anyone there?" Agumon asked Y/n after he finished his candy bar.
"Then we keep walking!" Y/n said with a lot of enthusiasm, which didn't reciprocate to Gabumon or Agumon.
"Do you have more of those yummy bars, Y/n?" Both Agumon and Gabumon asked Y/n, who just sighed.
'I hope Kari isn't having as hard of a time...' Y/n thought as he went into his bag and gave Agumon and Gabumon another candy bar. Y/n turned his attention to the sky as he saw it was beginning to set, bringing something out of him.
"Next time we see Tai, I should ask for Takoyaki..." Agumon said as he bit into the candy bar.
"And I should ask Matt if he can play the Harmonica..." Gabumon said as the two walked behind Y/n as he led them towards the Great Canyon.
Meanwhile, in the Great Canyon...
Kari and Tai managed to track out of the forest they were in and were able to walk to the Great Canyon the two of them were in a ravine with Salamon in Kari's arms asleep and Zubamon next to Tai who was looking at glitching screens on the walls of the ravine.

"Shouldn't we be out looking for everyone and not stare at the screen in the wall of a ravine?" Zubamon asked as he looked at Tai, who continued staring off into the ravine's screens.
"What are we to you guys now?" Tai asked as he still tared off at the screens.
"Huh?" Zubamon let out, confused at what Tai meant.
"I couldn't do anything. I could Digivolve Agumon if anything happened, but... It was no use," Tai said as he clutched his Digivice.
"Tai..." Kari worried for her brother, who looked back at the screens.
"Guess things can't go back to how they were," Tai said as he looked back at Zubamon. Kari was still looking back at her brother in worry, but her eyes shifted to a sleeping Salamon snuggling happily in her arms with a smile.
"I don't think everything about the reboot is all that bad," Kari said with a smile looking down at Salamon.
"Hmm?" Tai then turned his eyes to his little sister as Zubamon did the same thing.
"I think Salamon is better off now. Probably happier this way as well, and the Digimon got a new friend in Zubamon as well. Let's accept the Digimon as what they are now. Or else we can't move forward either," Kari explained as she looked back at her brother with a small smile. Tai looked as if he had a big revelation but quickly went away as he went back to staring down at his Digivice.
"Tai! Kari! Is that you?!" A voice then boomed over the two, as Tai, Kari, and Zubamon looked up to see from way above them was Y/n, and next to him were both Agumon and Gabumon.
"Y/n! Agumon!" Tai said as he looked up at the three of them slowly descending towards them.
"Y/n! Tai's said he was going to take my sword from my head!" Zubamon said as he ran on all fours to Y/n with his cape blowing in the wind.
"What?" Y/n asked with genuine confusion as he looked to Tai, who held his hands up.
"He insulted me first!" Tai said as Y/n facepalmed.
"Despite a reboot, some things never change..." Y/n said as Agumon then ran over to where Tai was.
"Tai! Tai! Tai! Do you have Takoyaki with you?!" Agumon said with excitement in his voice as he looked up directly at Tai.
"Glad to see you back," Kari said as she rested her head on Y/n's chest, making him smile as he hugged her, making sure not to wake the sleeping Salamon in her arms.
"So, are we going to look for another?" Gabumon asked the group, who turned his attention to him as they all let out a sly smile as they began walking back to where they first appeared in the Digital World.
