The nurse looked at the screen, "Your baby boy is perfectly healthy."

A huge smile crept over my face. "It's a boy?"

"Yes," she said as she took the tool off my abdomen. "You're 36 weeks with a little boy."

I pulled my black t-shirt on and stood up off the bed, "Thank you."

I was taken back to my room I shared with my friends. When I got there Minho was gone.

"They took him somewhere," Molly said with worry."

"I'm sure it's just another routine exam," I tried to comfort her.

"So, boy or girl?" She asked.

"I'm going to have a son," I said as I pulled a clean shirt and leggings out of my cubby.

"I knew it!" Molly hopped excitedly. "I knew it was a boy from the start! Oh Newt is going to be so excited."

I rubbed my stomach, "He is. Newt always said he didn't care what we had but I know he wants a boy."

"You're going to be such a good boy mom."

"I'll try. I'm scared. I've never been a mother before."

"No but you pretty much raised Chuck in the glade. You're going to be an amazing mother."

"I just wish I knew if Newts okay," I replied. With that I turned and walked back into the bathroom. I locked the door and turned on the shower. I tossed my dirty outfit into the laundry shoot. When the water was warm but not too hot I sat down in the tub and let the water sooth my tense body. I cried silently as the water dripped down me in streams. I cradled my stomach on my lap with my hands holding it. After a few moments of tears I felt it. I hadn't felt the feeling in days. A quick tap against my hand. I wiped my tears, leaned kver, and kissed the spot, "its just mom." I tapped the spot. I groaned and then laughed when my son delivered a hard kick back.

I tapped back. He kicked again. I rubbed my stomach and kissed where he kicked, "Don't worry. Momma's here. I'll keep you safe in there. I love you so much already," I said. When I finished my shower Minho was back. He was asleep on his bed with his very worried girlfriend watching him.

"He was like this when they brought him," she said as she fingered his shirt.

Minho was breathing. Sweat beaded on his forehead and ever so often he would twitch but he was alive.

He slept the rest of the day.

As did I. I was exhausted.

I looked at Thomas sitting in the front seat of the car as we sped along behind the train. I was tossed against the rusted wall of the vehicle as it bumped over the railroad tracks.

"This is crazy Thomas!" Vince yelled as he drove on full speed ahead behind the train.

"That's kinda how we roll!" I yelled over the rough rumbles of the car.

Thomas undid his seat belt and hung off the side of the car. He crouched on the hood as we neared the train. I shoved my pistol into my belt and slung my backpack over my body cross-ways.

"Get me closer!" Thomas yelled. Vince pressed the gas pedal down harder. Thomas hooked the hook attaching our vehicle to the train.

"Go!" Vince yelled back to me. I pulled myself onto the roof of the car. The wind howled shrilly in my ears as it messed up my hair. I lept off the front of the car and caught the middle rung on the trains ladder. My heart was pounding as I watched the train rails race underneath us.

"Come on vince!" Thomas beckoned. I watched as Vince climbed out of the car window. He was trying to still steer the vehicle with one hand as he slowly made his way closer to the front. One of the tires on the front side of the car exploded. Vince was tossed to the side, nearly off the car itself.

"Come on!" I yelled. Vince pulled himself up.

"JUMP!" Thomas commanded. Vince's foot just left the car as it flipped over. He caught the bar on the back of the train. His feet hit the ground. Thomas and I reached down and grabbed under his arms. We hauled him up onto the train.

"Crud," He breathed looking back at the crashed vehicle.

"Let's get this over with," I said as Thomas and I began to climb the ladders.

"Hey! Berge," Vince pointed towards the sky.

Ah shoot. I quickly clambered onto the platform.

"Hey Brenda! You got company!" Thomas yelled into the walkie-talkie he carried. The berge began to fire at Jorge and Brenda who raced alongside the train in a rusty jeep.

Brenda's voice came over the radio, "You're on your own don't die!"

"Gee that's comforting," I rolled my eyes as the train rumbled.

"Good luck!" He replied before shoving the radio back in his pocket. "We gotta move. Come on!"

The three of us made it onto the roof.

"Uh bro, We got a slight problem," I called over my shoulder. Four WCKD guards with guns were making their way over the train cars. Vince ran ahead. We swung down through an opening onto the front of one of the cars. I ripped open my backpack and handed vince an explosive. He shoved it into the tiny space between where the two cars connected. Thomas was firing at the guards above us.

"We're set! Cover your tails!" I ducked behind the ladder with Thomas. The guards shot at us as they approached.

"Duck," I suggested as Thomas and I climbed onto the side of the train. The explosive blew, setting the car we were on free from the rest of the train. I braced myself as the car rolled more slowly.

We lept off the stopped car. Thomas whistled. I saw Newt stand up from behind a rock a few yards away. He started running towards us with two others. I ran down the right side of the car knocking hard as I went. "Zoe?!" I yelled.

Inside I heard shouts.

"This one!" Thomas ushered Newt. Newt began to set up his blow torch. I had too chuckle a little.

"Oh crud. This is gonna be close," Dad said as he jogged up.
