After finishing the Q&A session with the police, I became so exhausted that the doctor kicked everyone out of the ward.

'I am staying.' Tay stubbornly refused to take even one step out of the room.

The doctor was frowning.

'Give us a minute doctor.' I faintly smiled at him.

'But..'

'Please?' I pleaded and the doctor looked at my sorry state, huffed and grumbled,

'You are the most uncooperative patient I've ever met.'

'I know.' I need to talk to Tay.

'Fine. But not a minute more. I need to run some more tests to determine the position of that blood clot.'

'Thanks.'

The doctor left the room and the nurse also left after attaching the
IV drip on my other hand.

'Don't move your hand too much. You've already injured the other one when forcefully pulled that niddle out.'

'I won't.' I said obediently.

The room became quieter. Tay was standing like a statue not moving or saying anything.

'Come here.' I extended my free hand.

'Don't move your hand.' He hurriedly reached and took it into his own. Then he sat down on the side of the bed.

'Is Boo alright? How did he meet you?' I was curious about that the moment I heard it.

'Yes. He is with Leo at the hotel. I will tell you the rest later.' He was answering everything but his tone was clipped.

I nodded. I don't need to say anything else because I know that without my asking he'll definitely take good care of him.

'Tay.....about earlier....' I know how his mind works. He is definitely angry because of that 'I love you' and hug.

'How did you hurt your head?' He asked as if I didn't say anything. He was trying to stay calm.

'I tripped.' I sighed.

'Boo didn't say anything about it.'

'It happened after he went missing. I was angry and throwing punches at Earth when I tripped and accidentally hit my head on the windowsill.'

He closed his eyes and I saw the bulging vein on his neck.

He is angry but trying hard not to show it.

'Tay...'

'Don't.'

'Don't what?'

'Don't call me like that.'

'Call you like what?'

'Like you care about me. Like you actually care about me.' His eyes were glistening with tears.

'I do care about you and you know that!' I was losing my cool too.

'Bullshit!'

'Tay!' It's like a slap on my face.

'Stop talking. I don't want to get into a fight with you right now.' He lowered his voice and his tone was distant.

'But....'

'Time's up.' The doctor interrupted our conversation and gave Tay a hard stare.

'What?' He was in a bad mood already.

'Please wait outside.'

'No.'

'Tay, listen to the doctor and wait outside until all the tests are done.'
