AN: Okay, first off all, I am so sorry about this almost taking a literal month, just really couldn't get in the mood to write and I have a lot of stuff that I want to finish before school, so I'm sorry to dissapoint you but I did not spend hours staring at a blank screen uninspired. Hopefully you guys enjoy this since it will probably take me a while to get the next chapter out, considering that if this school year is anything like the last one my anxiety and depression are going to go into overdrive mode. Sorry for dumping all this, hope you like the chapter, definetely not the best though I'm trying to build up so that it can hopefully get better! Enjoy!

As we walk through the huge city bustling with night life, I notice how vibrant and colourful it all is. The contrast to what I'm used to is almost a bit much to process. However I'm stll confused as to where were going, so I tap Finn on the shoulder to get his attention.

"Umm, Finn?" he turns to me so that he can try and figure out what I'm about to ask. "What's fast food?" he let's out a light chuckle at my question.

"You'll find out soon enough." and with that his attention is caught by something else. I swear Finn has the shortest attention span in the world.

Maybe I could ask Ant? He seems excited, so I would assume that he knows what it is. Though they all know what it is, so there's no point in standing around asking stupid questions about things I should know.

"McDonald's! I could get chicken nuggets, or a Big Mac, or—wait! Do they have all day breakfast here?" everybody starts laughing as Ant looks like a five year old who saw a cute animal and is asking to pet it as he asks this.

"I'm pretty sure they don't, though we can check just in case." Fontaine easily deals with Ant in a way that shows just how much her and Kaiko are alike.

"What do you want to get?" the question catches me off guard a bit as I try to think of a response.

"I'm not really sure yet?" Yeah, great ans.wer Maddie. It's supposed to be a statement, though somehow I think it turned into a question.

"You have no idea what McDonald's is don't you?" annnnnddddd, let the awkwardness comence. "That's fine. It's basically a place full of burgers that have patties so small that I'm not even sure that they qualify as a burger, and puny chicken nuggets that are probably way overpriced for what they are, but you get it anyway since sometimes your too lazy to cook though don't want to pay seventy dollars on some fancy restraunt." What suprises me most is that he doesn't seem annoyed by having to answer my question but... happy to? Okay, this is weird. Though I can't help but let out a small smile at his description. And when we arrive, I see that the description matches perfectly.

We line up to order, and when it comes to our turn and the lady asks what we want, Fontaine asks for a habanero something, Finn chicken nuggets, and Ant gets some Big Mac thing. When it comes to my turn, I have no idea what I want so I just say that I'll have whatever Ant's getting. But as we wait Ant points out what exactly a Big Mac is on the menu, I realize my mistake. I can't eat that much!

"Come on, let's get our drinks!"

"Isn't there a drinking age or something?"

   "Not that type of drink."

"Oh... then what type of drink is it?"

   "Pop!"

Ant then walks toward something that has a bunch of labels like Pepsi and Sprite, and presses on one that says root beer with his cup underneath to catch the drink. I must still look confused because Ant launches into explaining again.
