You couldn't believe it. None of the other soldiers could. You made plenty of enemies and it took months for you to finally warm up to the Scouts. Levi, as you came to find out, is a hard person to get along with. He always gave you the cold shoulder and when he's not blatantly trying to stay out of your way, you can see his dull gray eyes boring into the back of your school. You don't know what his problem is, but it's not like you can pretend that all of this wasn't happening. So, during supper, you took your tray of food and meekly started to make your way toward Hange.

"Hange?" She hummed in response and watched as you awkwardly shifted your weight between your feet in front of her. "Is this seat taken?"

"No, no! Go right on ahead!" Hange encouraged the idea of you sitting next to her. It was... a relief. You had almost forgotten all about your home's prejudice against the Eldians. "Maybe we can save this for another time? I was actually going to ask you something about Levi..."

"Eh?" She raised a brow. When you tried explaining his behavior toward you, Hange looked off to the side to see Levi looking at you two. Almost as if he was eavesdropping, but since she had known her colleague for years, Hange immediately started bursting out laughing. She knows him too well.
