It's a shame that Rhino destroyed it - it was really pretty.
I ran around the office floors, trying to locate Rhino. It wasn't really that hard to spot him - he was a grey, metal giant.
Without even thinking about what I was about to do, I jumped down -
And I landed on his shoulders.
He roared in fury and began trying to shake me off, stumbling into even more tables and knocking people clean over.
"What are you doing?" He bellowed in rage.
"Trying to stop you! How about you make my job easier and let me capture you?"
"No!"
With that, he threw me off his shoulders, and I flew through a wall due to the momentum I had just gained.
Ugh...
I attempted to open my eyes, but my eyelids were so heavy.
Maybe I should just...
Take a nice...
Little...
Nap...
I heard the distant, yet familiar growl of the Rhino in the distance - which snapped me out of my fast-approaching slumber.
I can't sleep - not yet.
I slowly got up. I stumbled slightly but caught myself before moving my head to face the intimidating figure of the Rhino, who was slowly approaching. I felt my head spinning.
He did hit me pretty hard...
I heard his sickening villain laugh from afar.
"You know, it's really a shame. I had thought you were stronger than this."
"But it seems as if my powers are too much for ordinary men."
His powerful footsteps made the ground tremble, and I wrestled with myself to remain upstanding.
But one of his particular comments stood out to me.
A low chuckle grew from my belly and trickled out of my throat, halting Rhino in his steps.
He tilted his bulbous head in confusion.
"What is so funny?" He asked.
"Shame," I said, getting once more into a ready stance.
"I'm not a man."
I pushed off of the ground using my remaining strength and flicked a web at his chest. Quickly, I swung up and propelled (yes, I looked for synonyms of 'kicked')his chin upwards, so much so that he moved into the air before landing flat on his back, out cold.
I'm not sure whether my kick knocked him out or if it was him hitting his head as he fell...
However, to be frank, I'd prefer the first option.
I landed perfectly - one knee bent with my toes facing the ground, and the other leg stretched out with my foot flat on the ground.
If only my fifth-grade ballet teacher could see me now.
I eventually stood up and felt the first drops of rain splatter on my head and shoulders. Just to add to the already daunting weather, red-and-blue lights flickered in the distance, swiftly approaching the unconscious body of the Rhino.
The police car screeched to a stop, and not three moments later, two of my favourite policemen stepped out.
What are the chances that the two policemen sent to investigate this place, of all days, would be Captain George Stacy and Lieutenant Jeff Morales?
