But Abigail got along with Eloise as well, and with Angelica. She was cordial with Eliza, because she obviously loathed Alexander. The three were very independent women for their time, with Eliza being in that group most of the time.

"Abigail is just in the other room." She smiled, taking in the sight of all of them in the bridesmaid dress, Thomas had obviously wanted magenta for their wedding colors, but Eloise had resisted with dark blue. They eventually settled on a gorgeous indigo.

"You look stunning." Eliza said as Abigail made her way through the door.

"So do you." She promised, and Isabelle held up her veil beside her.

"Yes, the veil." Angelica sighed as Isabelle clipped the veil to her head, flipping the first layer over her head.

"We're all ready then?" Isabelle asked, looking at the other women who nodded. There was then a knock at the door.

"Perfect timing." Eloise muttered, and Angelica opened the door to Eloise's father.

"May I come in?" He asked.

"Of course, we must be going." Angelica nodded.

"Good to see you again, George." Eliza curtsied a little.

"You too." He smiled as the women made their way out of the room one by one.

"Nervous?" George asked his daughter.

"A little." She nodded.

"Don't be. This is going to be the best day of your life." Her father promised.

"It better be the best day of Thomas'." She laughed.

"It is. You are the best thing that ever happened to him. Trust me, Eloise." George nodded. "You ready?"

"Yeah. I'm ready." She smiled, taking her fathers arm and her bouquet off the table as they made their way outside to the courtyard. They were behind trees for right now, and Abigail was just leaving to walk out with John.

Angelica Hamilton, 7 years old, was their flower girl, as she stumbled down the aisle in her heels, throwing flower petals around people laughed and aw-ed until she took her side by her mother, and the wedding march began.

Eloise and her father rounded the corner, and almost everyone in the crowd took a collective gasp.

Thomas, though, felt like he was going to die.

She was so beautiful.

It was unbelievable to him, that this woman was his. This stunning, entrancing, gorgeous woman. This independent, educated, outspoken woman. This graceful, mature, god-fearing woman.

How did he end up with such a woman?

Her father kissed her on the cheek, and Eloise took her place across from Thomas. Isabelle, Angelica, Eliza, and Abigail behind her, in that order. Eliza holding little Angelica's hand.

"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of these two souls, Thomas Jefferson, and Eloise Washington." The officiant began, and Eloise started to cry a little, staring into Thomas' eyes across from her.

"Eloise and Thomas first met when she was 16, but only became close when she was 18, until he left for France. 5 years later, Mr. Jefferson began courting her. Now here we are. Wedding these two souls at last."

"The two will now exchange their vows."

"You wanna go first?" Thomas asked.

"Sure." She shrugged, clearing her throat.
