A mysterious contract

Counters was improved with a body augmentation, the usual, self-repair, protection against Corruption and lighter weight for their body without losing their armor. For Marian's case, it was just some small changes because Lowell has repaired her on their first mission. As for their guns, even though we have offered better guns for them, they did not want to change it. So we decide to improve their weapons as a subtitute.

Now, they are on the surface along with Eclipse waiting for the orders of their Commander. William was resting in the Command Center to heal his wounds, so I am in command for now.

Lowell : So... Do you have a name?

??? : I do not have a name, sir. Do you want to name me, sir?

Lowell : Yes, I will call you Sonate, and call me Lowell please.

Sonate : Name received, I am now Sonate. Awaiting orders, Lowell.

Lowell : Good. Attention everyone!

They are now staring at me,  waiting what will I say next.

Lowell : We are here to clear this area from the Raptures as well as training for your news abilities. Sonate, you will try to take control of as much Raptures as possible and kill the rest with Counters and Eclipse. Counters and Eclipse will follows her to protect her from being destroyed. Does everyone know what to do?

All : Yes, Commander.

Lowell : Let's go.

We have hunted every Rapture in the area, at first, Sonate was taking control of the Raptures and everyone was amazed about it. I wonder if we can make more of Sonate?

Anis : Wow! Never thought I would see this in my life. A peaceful walk in the surface with Raptures not shooting at us.

Rapi : The Ark would do anything to get this kind of technology.

Neon : Yeah, and I really want to test my weapon, I feel a lot of firepower inside it.

Marian : The Commander is very kind to us.

Anis : And he has a powerful team to help him too.

After some time, Sonata was controlling her 500 Raptures however when the next arrives... I see him moving erractically.

Sonate : I can't control effectively this Rapture. I'm reaching my limit.

Lowell : Understood, Neon, destroy it.

Neon : Yes, Master.

Neon points her weapon at the Rapture and notice a little switch on it.

Neon : Huh? What does it do, this little switch?

She presses it and pulls the trigger.

*Bang*

A trail of light appears from the Neon's shotgun and obliterates the Rapture. Then another group appears and Sonate pulls the trigger on her gun. The group just becomes non-existent as a black sphere envelops them and vanishes without a trace.

Rapi : ...

Anis : ...

Neon : ... That was awesome.

Anis : I feel like this is cheating.

Lowell : There's no rule for being overpowered in a war. And now if Chatterbox attacks us again, it will the last thing he will do.

We keep hunting them until none are left in the surroundings. Good, this area is clean of Raptures.

Lowell : <Harold, do you detect any Rapture in the area?>
