Appearance - Penn had short orange hair that came down to his ear with a couple of cowlicks on top. He also had bright green eyes and light skin. He had a layer of synthetic again that concealed his metallic structure and spherical joints and his irises bore similarities to the shutter of a camera. The skin wasn't strong and could be damaged revealing the metal under it. He also wore a silver backpack that contained Floating Array, his weapon. (Prologue - volume 3)

Penn has been rebuilt by his father. His hair was significantly longer that almost reached to his upper neck and instead of a couple of cowlicks, it's now just one cowlick but longer. The ahoge remained and was more prominent. (Volume 7-8)

Upon acquiring a new, fully human form by Ambrosius, Penn retained mostly the same appearance, though with a few changes. He did not keep his gloves nor his metal legs and boots, leaving both hands and feet bare. His backpack containing his Floating Array was no longer present. (Human)

Clothing outfits -

(Prologue - volume 3) - Penn wore a long sleeve white dress shirt with the green trench coat and green neck tie. He also sported a gray pants and he also wore a pair of black thigh-high leg pieces that seemingly were attached to black shoes. The leg pieces had a single green stripe on the sides that appeared to light up.

(Volume 7 - 8) - Penn wore the same dress shirt but with olive green trench coat and black necktie that had a golden outlined green power symbol. He also sported jeans and had the same black metal leg pieces that ran up to his thighs, both having a green stripe that ran down the sides, with a large green circle at the top and a small one at the bottom, both outlined with gold and capable of lighting up too. The knee pieces of his legs were heavily defined to look separate from the rest of the leg pieces, but this time instead of black shoes, he wears boots. He had a triojects in the lower rear part of his leg pieces that granted Penn the ability of flight.

In vol 8, the palm of his his gloves were spray painted black to conceal his metallic structure after his fight with Kage. Later when he was damaged after being hacked for the first time, Penn who was shown to bleed green coolant in the place of blood.

As a human, the "power button" symbol on his necktie disappeared. Furthermore, the black part of his neck tie was no longer sharp and metallic looking. Instead being made of fabric. He also bled regular blood instead of his previous green coolant, as shown in "The Final Word".

Personality - Penn was amiable, excitable, kind and curious. He got a lot of his attitude from his father and his younger twin sister. He often showed a distant lack of social awareness, likely due to not having a lot of experience with human nature.
