A young girl sat and watched as people staggered into the large room for the physical part of the entrance exam; some looked confident and excited, while others looked nervous and intimidated. It's no surprise though— how else should someone react when testing into the best hero school in Japan?
'I understand where all of them are coming from. It's frightening to put yourself out there and to push yourself to be the best, but some people aren't as gifted as others. I'm one of the fortunate ones luckily. I was blessed with a powerful and versatile quirk... I like to call it Neon Burst; it's a very flashy quirk in my opinion so I'm sure at least a few eyes will be on me.' you though
"HELLO BOYS AND GIRLSSSSSSS" (Y/n) heard a loud voice announce.
"WELCOME TO THIS YEARS U.A HIGH ENTRENCE EXAM!!! ARE YOU ALL READYYYYYYYY?!?!" there was a long and awkward pause as the Pro Hero Present Mic tried to gain the crowds attention.
"Uh— anyway. For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today! Everybody say "hey!"" yet again another round of silence fills the space as all the other aspiring hero's stare at the blonde hero.
"What a response! Then I'll quickly show you the rundown on the practical exam!"
As Present Mic is explaining the rules and procedures of the preliminary exam and (Y/n) began thinking — 'So the exam is an assessment of our physical prowess... that makes sense when looking at how many students are applying; as well as everyone having different quirk limits... Smart.'
Her attention was drawn back after hearing a questioning males voice.
"May I ask a question?" a taller boy with navy hair and glasses asked.
"Go for it, any and all questions are welcome!" Present Mic claimed.
The boy began pointing at our packet of information as he asked,
"On the printout, there are four types of villains! If that is a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed of that foolish mistake! We examinees are here in this place because we wish to be molded into exemplary heroes!" he exclaimed
'talk about being an overachiever dude...' (Y/n) thought, rolling her eyes slightly
The boy with glasses then points to another examinee with shaggy green hair, "In addition, you over there with the curly hair!"
"Huh?" the other boy glanced over
"You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!" the navy hairs boy shouted, embarrassing the boy with green hair to the extreme.
(Y/n) glanced over to see a boy with green curly hair shaking in his seat; 'I don't think it was that serious, I didn't even hear it and I'm not the far away from the poor kid...' she thought
"I'm sorry..." the now embarrassed boy said.
As the explanations came to an end (Y/n) began to strategize and focus on the task at hand.
