Todoroki's POV:

We walked through the woods at a steady pace. Trying to navigate in the dark terrain wasn't an easy task. I was behind Shoji and Midoriya when we came to a clearing, Shoji spotting people on the path

"Uraraka!" Shoji called out

"Help her!" Asui shouted, I noticed her hair was pinned up to a tree and she seemed stuck. Only noticing the small blonde girl under Uraraka once she pushed the brunette off her and moved towards the woods.

"Stop!" Uraraka called out making the blonde stop and turn to her,

"There's too many people here now... and I don't feel like being killed tonight. Toodles" she said in a disappointed voice

"Get her!" Uraraka stood, trying to go after her

"Wait! We don't know what kind of quirk she has it's too dangerous!" Asui reasoned, stopping the brunette from following the unknown girl that ran off into the woods.

"Who was that girl just now...!" I asked while jogging to the 2 girls

"One of the villains... she was crazy!" Asui explained

"Uraraka... you're hurt!" Midoriya observed

"It's not that bad don't worry... I can still walk ok. Besides you're the one who looks all messed up!" She said

"We can't stay here and talk... let's move!" Shoji urged the others

"I'm just glad you guys are somewhat ok... join our group, traveling in large numbers is ideal!" Midoriya explained, "we're protecting Kacchan and going back to camp, we could really use your help!"

"Hmm? If you're protecting Bakugo then shouldn't he be here with you guys?" Asui questioned making us all to turn around

"He's right behind us-" Midoriya explained, only seeing the empty space behind us with a missing (L/n), Bakugo and Tokoyami. My head turned to the woods after a crunch of the leaves was heard, is there someone there...? Did they take her?!

A smooth voice began to speak from the trees above, making everyone snap their heads up, "Nice trick huh? I took the fellow you speak of with my magic... skills like his would be wasted as a hero so we will provide him with a grander stage to shine!" A man in a long yellow coat and mask declared

"Give him back!!" Midoriya shouted. All that was on my mind was where the other 2 went. Did this guy take (L/n) too?

"Give him back...? That's an awfully strange thing to say," The masked man said while tossing a marble that apparently held Bakugo, "the boy doesn't belong to anyone! He's his own person, don't be so arrogant," he said

"WE'LL STOP YOU!" Midoriya shouted, at this point I couldn't wait to ask where she went. Assuming this guy was telling the truth he probably had (L/n) in one of his pockets! I lunged forward without a second thought

"Right now!" I said while shooting ice from my foot. The man jumped from the tree he was in and was now up in the air

"Why so aggressive? We just want to show him that he has options beside the pretentious world of heros he's drowning in... after all it's important to choose a path that aligns with your core values wouldn't you agree?" The man said now landing in the top of a tree

"It's not just Bakugo! (L/n) and Tokoyami are missing too!!" Shoji shouted as he turned around

Dammit! He grabbed 3 of our strongest classmates without even being detected what the hell kind of power is this?!

"Your incessant monologuing means you think you've beaten us? Well you're wrong!" I shout at him now furious at the current situation

"Oops that's my bad, old habits die hard! I was once an entertainer you know?" He said and rolled 3 marbles in his fingers, "Taking Tokoyami was a bit of improv on my part, but miss (L/n)? She was specially requested by one of my colleagues," he said with a taunting voice
