It's a Game of Life! ?

Rainbow's POV

The whole school is waiting for the announcement on who got selected for the Games. By the way the Games starts in a couple of hours. The opposing school's team hasn't arrived yet. But I know I will get selected 'cause duhh it's so obvious that our team can't win without my awesomeness. And I'm positive my friends will get selected too.

Anyways everyone was waiting with anticipation for the announcement while P. Celestia and V.P. Luna were discussing about the selected members.

Both of them came to the front of the stage and P. Celestia said;

"The students whose names are being called please come to the stage"

Now V.P. Luna took over;

"The students who are going to represent Canterlot High School in the Friendship Games are:

Rainbow Dash

Pinkie Pie

Rarity Gem

Sunset Shimmer

Twilight Sparkle

Apple Jack

Fluttershy

Microchips

Derpy Hooves

Flash Sentry

Trixie -"

We all - I mean those whose names were called made our way to the stage. By the way I told you I'll get selected. Anyway when Trixie heard her name she shouted "You mean the Great and Powerful Trixie" but Luna just rolled her eyes and continued;

"Trixie Lulamoon

Thunder lane

Vinyl Scratch

Cheese Sandwich

And finally Caramel"

When all the students whose names were called were on the stage P. Celestia said:

"These are the students who are gonna participate in the Friendship Games"

         The rest of the school cheered for us. 

Sunset's POV

        It has been an hour since the announcement and currently all the students are standing outside near the Wondercolt statue to greet our opposing teams' school who will be here any minute now, which I did some research on and came to a conclusion that it could be 'Cloudsdale High School', keyword- could be. I told my friends and they were a little doubtful in believing it especially Rainbow and Fluttershy. When I mentioned 'Cloudsdale High' they seemed a little sad for some reason. When we asked about it they just dodged the question which is normal for Fluttershy but Rainbow rarely does that, she straight up answers it is rarely sad about anything with her big ego but we didn't pressure them.

  Now some of the students are talkingand going about their business. Rainbow was playing with her soccer ball,Rarity was doing her nails, Twilight was reading a book as usual, Pinkie wasplaying with a balloon, AJ was eating an apple, Fluttershy was talking with herbirds and Angel bunny, and I am scrolling through social media on my phone.

         Suddenly we heard a loud horn blow somewhere nearby and everyone stopped whatever they were doing. Principal Celestia came forward and told everyone to get ready and me and my friends went forward to where Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were standing as we were the school representatives and it is our duty to greet other schools when they come to our school.

Blue buses with a gold lightning bolt with wings (pic above) on its sides parked in front of our school. I looked at my friends and all of them were looking at them anxiously to see our opponents all except Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy who were looking at it curiously as if they have seen it before but couldn't put their finger on what it was. I just shrugged it off and watched as the doors to the first bus opened and out stepped two women whom I presumed was the Principal and Vice Principal of this school. Behind them came the students from the bus, first came four girls who were arguing about something. Now Rainbow and Flutters were looking at them as if trying to figure something out. I turned my attention back to the bus as some other boys and girls stepped out, what really caught my attention was the last boy who was talking on his phone about something; He had navy blue hair, pale blue skin and eyes as beautiful as shimmering emeralds and he looked awfully familiar. And it seems like I'm not the only one who seem to think so. Some girls stared him and some started whispering excitedly about something.

        The boy was looking around at all of us while still talking on his phone until his eyes landed on Dash, she too looked at him and when their eyes met they both froze and their eyes widened and the boy stopped talking on his phone and simply held it near his ear. All of our other friends stared at the two in confusion except for Fluttershy who had a bright smile on her face as she looked between the two of them and looked at the rest giving us a small smile assuring us she'll explain everything later.

The boy hesitantly said her name as if it were glass that would break;

"Dash?"

Wait, He knows her? All the students from Canterlot turned to look at Rainbow even the girls of that boy's school who were arguing earlier stopped when they heard her name and turned to her wide eyed. What is happening here?

"Soarin?"

       Dash too said the name with the same hesitancy as him. Then when the name registered in my head it was like a lightning bolt struck me that I realized why he looked so familiar; He's the freaking Soarin Skies. The famous teen model. I became giddy at the thought but then I remembered something, Wait... He knows Dash and she knows him. I looked at them both quizzically as they stared at each other for a few seconds before their eyes started tearing up and he dropped the phone he was holding. Hold on, eyes tearing up? Dash? We all looked at her incredulously and then there was a dramatic silence theonly sound being the crashing of that boy's phone on the ground . Before anyone knew what was happening Dash just ran across from us to Soarin Skies and threw herself into his arms and he wrapped his arms around her tightly likehis life depended on it and buried his face into her hair, and they both started
