Chapter 11 | The Sports Festival: Part 3 - Heavy Cavalry

Why was this bothering him? You were friends with practically everyone in class so this wasn't out of your character by any means, yet the boy couldn't help but feel anger and... jealousy???

Shaking off his strange emotions the heterochromatic boy walked over to join his complete group,

"(L/n)! We were looking for you-" You turned to see Uraraka waving to you while standing next to Midoriya and Iida. "Midoriya came up with a great plan using all our quirks!" she continued. You looked at your friends with guilt, completely forgetting about teaming up with them during your initial encounter with all the other students. You felt bad but you couldn't back out of your team now... the match was about to start after all.

"I'm sorry guys... But I'm with a team already. I mean this in the best way but I want to learn to fight without you guys, to be strong enough to save people and get to the top." you said looking at the 3 of your friends with determination. They shared the same look as you and all nodded their heads in excitement.

"Well then I wish you luck (L/n)... cause we're aiming for the top too!" Iida announced with a determined smile. you returned the smile and went back to your group.

As you make your way back, the time to pick teams has been concluded and you begin to assemble your formation.

"The reason I picked the 3 of you is because our formation would hold the most stability by far... Kaminari will guard the left side from opponents using his electricity." Todoroki said causing Kaminari to nod in understanding.

"Yaoyorozu, you'll take the right and provide an insulator, you'll keep us shielded while also supplying us with efficient movement." Yaomomo nodded to her part in the plan.

"And (L/n)... you'll be the lead of the formation. All mobility comes down to you, as well as your ability to create force fields that are hot to the touch. Protect us from head on attacks and use your blasts to deflect enemies..." Todoroki explained

You smiled and nodded in agreement to his idea, guess I do fit well into his plan good observations Roki. "hmm let me guess... you'll be on top holding them off with your fire and ice right Roki? " you pumped your fists in an excited manner waiting for his response.

"...no... in battle I refuse to use my left side..." Todoroki declared as he glanced up at the stands, taking a peak from behind him you spot the fiery glow of the #2 hero: Endeavor. Eek! what a scary looking guy...

"GET READY EVERYONE!!! THE COUNTDOWN TO THIS BATTLE BEGINS NOW!!! 3..."

The alarm sounded as the 15 minutes battle began. Teams were running around everywhere trying to target the teams with the most points. Your team was up there racking in a total of 630 points thanks to yours and Todoroki placement in the 1st event.

We continued dodging and blocking the few teams that were coming at us with ease, a majority going after Midoriya and his 10,000,000 point headband. It was kinda funny to think about; your friends were running around trying to avoid everyone that kept coming, while you played an easy defensive game because of the distraction your friends made. You began to laugh lightly at the idea causing most of your team to giggle at the sight with you.

Your laughter was cut short by Present Mic stating half of class-A's teams were at 0 points. WHAT?! No way... even Bakugo is at 0, he must be fuming right about now-

As you turn to face in front of you, a small gasp leaves your mouth... Midoriya... this should be fun you thought with a sneaky little smile to your friends. You felt a shift in weight from behind you as Todoroki stared down the group before you.
