Ch. 10

Sana was eager to know what had happened after she left. "So did you guys have sex?" Sana whispered over the phone, "What! Are you crazy?" Mina responded, "Why? You guys are both adults," Sana hit her back. "We didn't even kiss," Mina confessed. Sana started teasing Mina and trying her best to educate her about intimacy. Mina blushed but listened to Sana's advice with a mix of embarrassment and curiosity. As the days went by, Mina couldn't help but feel a growing desire to take their relationship to the next level.

Her mind was full of all these newfound thoughts and information from Sana, the day went by so fast she hardly noticed. Mina couldn't help but wonder if she was ready to explore her newfound desires with her partner. The thought of intimacy both excited and scared her, but she knew that she trusted Haru and valued their connection enough to consider taking that leap.

"Hello Ms. Myoi, you there?" Hare says while waving his hand in front of Mina startling Mina out of her thoughts. She blinked and refocused her attention on Haru, feeling a slight blush creep up her cheeks. "Sorry, Haru," she stammered, "I was just lost in my world for a moment." Haru chuckled softly and replied, "I wonder what it was, you seem deep in thought." Mina's blush deepened as she hesitated, unsure if she should share her thoughts with Haru. However, Haru interrupted her internal debate by saying, "Mina do you want to go on our first date this weekend?" Mina's eyes widened in surprise, her blush now spreading across her entire face. She felt a rush of excitement and nervousness as she replied, "I would love to, Haru"

They had planned to meet up at Mina's house and then take Mina's car, so Haru woke up early that day, took a shower, did his skincare, and put on his favorite outfit which was a white t-shirt with a jacket over it and a black pants. He finishes up with his favorite cologne and shoes. He takes a cab to Mina but along the way picks up a bouquet of tulips for Mina. He couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and anxiety. Thoughts of their upcoming date filled his mind, making him fidget with excitement. Haru couldn't help but wonder if Mina felt the same way he did.

Same as Haru Mina woke up early to shower, she did her skincare and then her makeup, and she took a long time to decide on an outfit with something simple which was a sweet knit two-piece with blue jeans. As Mina got ready, she couldn't help but feel a flutter of nerves in her stomach. Mina hoped that her simple and comfortable outfit would make a good impression on Haru. For their date, she did not want to look fancy or overdressed.

Haru knocked on the door, waiting patiently. Mina opened the door, and her nerves instantly melted away as she saw Haru's warm smile.

"Wow, you look so pretty." Mina blushed at Haru's compliment, feeling a surge of confidence. She thanked him and returned the compliment, noticing how well-dressed he looked in his casual attire. They both enjoy the moment for a bit before heading into Mina's car, Haru feels a little nervous about driving since it's Mina's expensive car.

"Are you sure you're okay with me driving your car?" Haru asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty. Despite having his driver's license, he does not own a car and is not accustomed to driving in Japan, he has only driven in the United States. Mina reassured him with a reassuring smile, "Of course! I trust you." With her words, Haru's nerves eased, and they headed on their date.

The place they arrive is the movie theater, where they had planned to watch the latest romantic comedy. As they entered the theater, the dimly lit room and the smell of freshly popped popcorn created a cozy atmosphere that made him even more eager to enjoy the movie with Mina. At the same time, Mina's heart was fluttering. She had been looking forward to this date. Haru goes to buy them a large popcorn to share and two drinks. As they found their seats and settled in, Mina couldn't help but steal glances at Haru, wondering if he'd make a move. Right then Haru got up and told Mina, "I forgot something, I'll be right back." Leaving Mina clueless. Haru returns a moment later with a blanket he has purchased. "Here in case you get cold" he handed to her. Mina couldn't help but smile at his thoughtfulness. The lights dimmed further, signaling the start of the movie, and they settled in, ready to escape into a world of romance and laughter together.

Haru who was so focused on the movie did not notice Mina's subtle glances towards him, as he was completely engrossed in the film. She couldn't help but want something to happen. When looking around, other couples are cuddling and some even making out. Mina's heart raced as she craved a similar level of intimacy with Haru. The desire to feel his warmth and affection grew stronger with each passing moment, and she knew Haru wouldn't find the courage to make the first move so she did. "Haru I'm cold, can you cuddle me?" Mina's voice trembled slightly as she spoke, hoping that her request would be met with a positive response.

Haru turned towards her, a surprised expression on his face, but quickly recovered and smiled. "Of course," he replied softly, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close as she covered the blanket over both of them. Mina's heart raced as she nestled into his embrace, feeling a sense of comfort and security she had longed for. "Thanks..." Mina whispered, her voice barely audible, she then leaned in a gave Haru a peck on the lips. Haru's cheeks flushed at the unexpected gesture, but he quickly returned the kiss, his heart pounding. As they pulled away, a warm blush spread across Mina's cheeks, and she couldn't help but want a bit more. She looked into Haru's eyes and leaned in once again, their lips meeting in a passionate embrace. The world around them faded away as they lost themselves in the sweet taste of each other's lips.

After the movie, they decided to go to a restaurant Mina had made reservations for. They sat across from each other, their eyes locked on each other. The restaurant buzzed with the sound of laughter and clinking glasses, but all they could focus on was each other, their hearts still racing from the intimate moment they had shared earlier.

"What can I get for you guys today" the waiter asked, prompting them to break their gaze and focus on the menu. They quickly glanced at each other, exchanging smiles before turning their attention to the waiter. "We'll start with some appetizers and a bottle of wine, we'll have the steak and the seafood pasta for our main courses," Mina replied.

"Wow Ms. Myoi, you sure know how to make a guy feel special," Haru said with a playful wink. Mina could not help but laugh at Haru's comment. "Well, I aim to please," she replied, playfully nudging him with her elbow. The waiter smiled and took their order, leaving them to enjoy the rest of their evening together.

"But how long are you going to call me Mina or Ms.Myoi? I am your girlfriend now." Mina says while faking a pout. Haru chuckled, "Well, I guess it's just a habit, but if you prefer, how about I call you Love?" Mina smiled and nodded, "I love it! From now on, I'll call you Love as well." Feeling content with their playful banter, the food came and they began to enjoy their meal. the evening continued to unfold beautifully, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and affection.
