Object of Affection [Mina X Male Reader]

Mina woke up feeling sore, especially down there. She winced as she moved, a gentle reminder of the passionate night they had shared. Despite the discomfort, a satisfied smile crossed her face as she remembered the intense pleasure they had experienced together. She then looks at Haru, who is still asleep. She goes to wash up while leaving Haru, who's still peacefully sleeping. She comes back in and notices Haru's morning wood.

She slowly pulled the blank down and stared at it. "This huge thing was inside me last night. No wonder I felt sore," she thought to herself. Feeling the breeze and cold, Haru wakes up, seeing Mina staring, causing him to cover up.

Embarrassed, Mina quickly averts her gaze and comments that it's his fault for having a boner early in the morning. Haru blushes and stammers, trying to explain that it's a natural bodily response. Mina chuckles, teasingly reminding him that it's still quite embarrassing. She suggests they both get dressed and head downstairs for breakfast, hoping to lighten the mood.

As they went down, they were greeted by Mina's maid, which surprised Haru as he had never seen her before. The maid, noticing Haru's flustered state, politely introduces herself as Akiko and assures him that she is there to prepare the breakfast and finish tidying up the place, so she'll be leaving after. Haru, feeling slightly relieved, thanks Akiko for her hospitality and joins Mina at the breakfast table. "How rich are you, love?" Haru asks jokingly, trying to break the tension in the air. Mina chuckles and playfully nudges him, replying, "Oh, you have no idea, my love. But don't let it go to your head." Haru laughs and takes a bite of his breakfast, enjoying the lighthearted moment.

As they continue their meal, Mina shares stories of her family and the experiences she has had growing up. Haru listens intently, fascinated by her world. Even though he knows a lot about Mina, he barely knows anything about her family. He realizes that there is still so much to learn about her and her background. Curiosity fills Haru's mind as he wonders how her family has shaped her into the person she is today.

He decides to ask Mina, "What made you start your own company?" Mina pauses for a moment, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. She answers, taking a sip of her coffee, "Well, it all began with a dream I had when I was young. My parents have always supported my independence and encouraged me to follow my passions. So when I was ready, I launched my own business after getting enough investors."

Haru was just amazed by Mina's determination and drive to pursue her dreams. He couldn't help but admire her for taking the leap and starting her own company, especially without needing the support of her family. "That's impressive, love," Haru said, a hint of admiration in his voice. Haru then cups Mina's cheeks gently in his hands, looking into her eyes with affection. "Your courage and hard work have not only led to your success but also brought us together. I'm grateful for that." Mina smiles back at Haru, feeling a surge of happiness and contentment. They spend the rest of the day enjoying each other's company.

Following this, Haru would go over to Mina's house almost every week and stay overnight. Haru's stuff was slowly filling up Mina's place, symbolizing their growing commitment and love for each other.

Time skip: 2 months

There was a new project at work. They'd be working with another company that was run by a young CEO as well, Ren Sato, who had a reputation for being ambitious and innovative. His father was a business friend of Mina's father; therefore, he and Mina had known each other since they were young. Ren was excited to collaborate with Mina.

The day of the meeting, when Ren entered the office, he greeted only Mina with a warm smile, completely ignoring the rest of the team. As they began discussing the project, Haru just sat back and couldn't help but feel something off about Ren. The meeting ended, and Ren left the office without acknowledging anyone else on the team. He went to Mina's office to talk with her more. Mina, of course, was welcome to it, as she wanted to catch up with him as well. Haru couldn't shake the feeling that Ren focused solely on Mina.
