The first chakra is the vital force required for all the excretion functions. It helps remove the toxins from the body and refresh the earth element. If the earth element is not refreshed regularly, it rots in the body and causes a variety of physical and mental diseases. Hence after opening root chakra I got a feeling of getting more vital raw strength and stillness in my lower body. It increased the ability to digest food well and sustain energy for a longer period. My senses became more clear even during samadhi as my sleep cycle improved. I kept practicing to balance my awakened root chakra even unconsciously. It took me more than two years, but I was finally able to balance my root chakra even while doing my day to day work. I started feeling less and less hungry and sleepy. I always felt active irrespective of day or night. As it was the basic of all chakras, all my time spent in mastering it was worth it.
Next chakra is Swadhisthana or Water. The element of this chakra is water, therefore, the chakra corresponds to bodily functions having to do with liquid like circulation of blood, urinary elimination, sexuality, and reproduction, as well as all the qualities of water, such as flow, formlessness, fluidity, and surrender. It's the chakra of graciousness, pleasure, and selflessness. Sacral awakening helps us feel more generous & charitable. It's the chakra of graciousness, pleasure, and selflessness. This chakra opening helps us feel more generous & charitable. I started practicing various yogas such as Goddess Pose (Standing Wide Forward Bend), Pelvic Rock (Sitting Wide Forward Bend), Hip circling, Scissor Kicks etc with prescribed mantra 'vam'. Months passed and I was not able to notice any specific changes. Still I continued practicing.
One day I was walking through the dense forest, my heart raced as I heard the sound of rustling leaves and snapping twigs. I checked nearby, and found few people were after a deer that lived in these woods. My heart churned with anxiety as I quickened my pace, determined to find the deer before it was too late. Just as I rounded a bend in the trail, I saw them - three men dressed in casual clothes. One of them had a rifle ready. They had already spotted me, and their eyes narrowed with suspicion. "What do you want?" one of them growled. I took a deep breath and stood tall, trying to project confidence despite the fear that threatened to overwhelm me. "These woods are home to countless animals, including the deer you're hunting. If you kill them, you'll destroy their habitat and disrupt the balance of nature. You should not do this. God is watching it all. Don't commit sin by taking an innocent life". Two men exchanged skeptical glances, clearly unimpressed by my words. But then, something unexpected happened - one of them spoke up, his voice filled with compassion. "We are really sorry Sadhu baba. We are travelers and just trying to find some food. When we saw this deer we thought we could eat it. Thank you for restraining us from committing the crime. Also please don't hand us over to the authorities. We will leave from here quietly.". I got intimidated by his truthfulness. I brought them to my cave and gave all of my fruits to him which I was keeping for myself. Then they thanked me and left from there. After they returned I realized something. After they left I started thinking, "What is this strange selflessness I experienced just now? I was always calculative my whole life." When I again checked the book, I realized that by awakening the second chakra a human becomes more gracious, selfless and gets pleasure from others happiness. Finally I understood the truth behind the second chakra. It helps one person's life smooth, steady and continuous like water without any knots i.e. free flow of life force from down to up without any constraints.
Manipura Chakra the Third chakra represents fire. This chakra meditation is known to boost confidence. Meditation with mantra 'ram' and various yogas Sun Salutation Pose, Warrior Pose, Backbends like Bow Pose, Half-spinal Twist, Boat Pose etc helps to awaken the third chakra. When the third chakra is in balance, you feel confident, self-motivated, and have a sense of purpose. Days passed while practicing the above practices. As time passed I started getting more confused and frustrated with myself. On close inspection I noticed in the book it was written an imbalanced chakra will lead to confusion, frustration, and stagnation in life. That time I realized after two successes, I was overconfident. I started learning the book in detail again. Once we know our will, its strength increases through use. Engaging this chakra requires developing the will, yet the passage beyond this chakra requires the ability to yield our will when appropriate. I stopped thinking about everything else. I started practicing daily. Day by day my confidence returned back to me. I started getting confident. My focus improved significantly. My consciousness exhilarated drastically even while in samadhi state, I started noticing all surrounding noises. My health became prosperous. Although I could not sense direct signs this time, I decided to proceed further as I was confident in myself. You can think like I had an intuition that I am ready this time.
